Am I the only person who would rather stick pins in my eyes than go to an Oasis concert?
Durgey, dull, same same music, enormous egos - no thanks I’d rather stay at home and I’m a 90s teenager!

Being a teenager in the mid 90s means that britpop and indie music were a huge part of my formative years. Their music transports me back to those years, which were bloody great. Absolute nostalgia. I saw them at Knebworth when I was 15.

I'm quite gutted to not have been able to get tickets.

The hypocrisy is overwhelming.
i swear for every post about not wanting tickets there has to be so many more about the opposite. Why is an opposite opinion so wrong?

I’m fed up of these threads now. I like oasis and loved them when I was 13 but regardless is there really any need for all these boring posts.

I have no desire to see them but have seen them live back in the day and they were well worth the money!
AFAIK nobody is being forced to buy tickets.

It's not wrong, it's just that cumulatively there has been an awful lot of threads about Oasis.

I think people get defensive when other people insult things that they really like. Kind of a natural reaction IMO. I've seen the same on anti-Taylor Swift threads. It's a bit goady.

I don't like Aubergines, Robbie Williams, Spiders, getting up early, jet-ski's....oh wait, should I start my own thread?

I like 4 songs only -

• acquiesce is my favourite
• then What's the story?(morning glory) not in Balamory
• Supersonic
• Live Forever

Four songs isn't worth sitting through a whole gig for. I had chance to see them at Leeds festival many moons ago. We called it quits once they'd played my favourite. As for paying out ££££ for tickets - nope, I wouldn't even do that for my favourite band (Editors) but nor do I need to as they don't take the piss.

Has somebody berated you for not liking them?

Just tell the truth, you couldn't get tickets and you're angry and pretending you hate Oasis. It's ok
