Disgusting or Not?

My partner has the habit of washing his hands and his arms up to the elbows at the kitchen sink and then drying them with the hand towel in the kitchen. He has very hairy arms.

AIBU to think this is disgusting and the hand towel in the kitchen should only be used for drying hands, not other hairy body parts?

I don’t feel that it is hygienic to handle food after I have washed my hands and dried them on the same hand towel that he has used.

The irony is that I am pretty unclean myself atm. I’ve worn the same shirt for 5 days in this heat and don’t have any clean crockery as it’s so long since I did any washing up.

I use the right hand socks as oven gloves.

No problem if he is using a hand towel and not the tea towel.

Most people would not find that disgusting. Hair doesn't make something disgusting.. why would it? Its just his arms..
If it bothers you so much tho just get your own separate towel.

The dog had been slobbering on his arms, which was why he washed his hands and arms in the first place.

FWIW I wouldn't particularly like it myself as my DP has hairy arms, I would be concerned that using the same tea-towel used to dry dishes/ cups etc might get hairs on them and therefore on food you put on the plate. I would definitely get him his own towel.

Fabulous. It's his only forearms, even if they are hairy. As long as it's not genitalia, feet or any body crevices, I don't see the issue.
