Just strikes me that they’re all available during the working week and yet they somehow think they’re the backbone of society.

If I had to chose who I wanted to eradicate from society it would be exactly these cretins. Fit and healthy enough to riot, fight and terrorise police officers who all have families to get back to but not fit enough to be occupied with any economic activity during the day.

The ones taking their children to a riot shoukd get a knock from Social Services. Who does that?!

My highlight is how they moan Muslims are taking their jobs, because people who think saving kids is looting a steak bake and robbing bath bombs are ever going to become doctors. There will be rioters who can't tie their shoelaces, the audacity to complain about anyone, ever, is shocking.

Nothing wrong with ranting about violent thugs but now you've got people calling them "scroungers" so that means anyone who is unemployed for whatever reason is a "scrounger?" Demonising benefit claimants isn't the way to go.

One of the most depressing things about the riots is that after reports of police behaviour in recent years , there will be a contingent of them who love a riot and probably enjoy that they get get to be involved in a "legitimate" way.

Absolutely not condoning rioters or saying that all police are like that but it just struck me that a proportion of the people we're trusting to control and calm the situation , probably have a similar mentality to the instigators....

Not everyone works 9-5 Monday to Friday.

Annual leave, shift workers, zero contract workers. Lots of reasons why they might be free today. Also, many are masked anyway, like a lot of the protestors seem to now be in favour of, for obvious reasons.

There's definitely an "underclass" of such people, often self employed because no one else would employ them. You can often add benefit fraud and tax evasion into the mix too, as many of these people prefer cash in hand jobs!

At no point did I imply that racist violence is a legitimate after-work activity, that someone might do to relax. 😂

But the fact is that it is happening. The fact that you wouldn't do it is neither here nor there, because there are plenty of people who are. Their employment status, and what benefits they may or may not claim, is utterly irrelevant to the question of whether their behaviour is wrong.
