Angela Carini is the incredibly brave Italian boxer who had her Olympic dream shattered in less than a minute after being punched in the face by Imane Khelif, a male competitor who was disqualified from the women’s World Championships last year because his testosterone levels were too high.
Everyone should be saying her name. Over and over and over again.

Yep I heard there is a protest in Paris tomorrow about these dudes being allowed to play in women’s sports.

I never heard who is protesting but might be on Twitter

@Tandora do you honestly believe that this is fine?? Really deep down you don’t see any unfairness????

@Tandora can't even answer what is a woman?!
Just a little reminder Tandora a woman is a biologically born female.
Tandora keeps referring to "girls & women", collectively @Tandora "girls & women" are females!
Sex matters. Words matter.

This is actually one of your more despicable posts.

Quite.

Might explain why the media are appearing to be more gender critical this evening. As always the Daily Mail have been exceptional but I was pleased with BBC1 this evening.

Iamnotalemming · 01/08/2024 20:44

I watched the video of this earlier and it actually made me cry. To think that a woman as tough and resilient as Angela, could be reduced to that state on the most public of all stages, due to the sheer inequality and unfairness of the situation, after the years of training she must have done. My heart broke a little bit for her. I'm so angry.

littlbrowndog · 01/08/2024 20:44

lol at the feminist claims 🤦‍♀️🤣🤣🤣🤣🙌🏽

This was a boxing match. Both participants, who voluntarily participated in this sporting event are legally recognised women.

Calling this male violence against women is all kinds of discriminatory and makes a mockery of male violence against women.

Edited

The female athletes who chose to compete, did not expect to compete against male athletes. Therefore, it can be said that they did not consent to be punched by a male person, particularly with the power difference that male athletes have.

This then becomes a consent and safeguarding issue.

Were these female athletes told they would be punched by male people? No. They were not. Would they have consented if they have full disclosure and full facts that a male person has the average punch 160% of their own power? I doubt it. Do you think they have consented with full knowledge? Yes or no?

Funny kind of feminist who blatently refuses to refer to women as females. Sex matters @Tandora

littlbrowndog · 01/08/2024 20:46

I watched it live the fight Was so upset and can’t believe still that IOC thought it was all good

wankers the IOC all of them

ButterCrackers · 01/08/2024 20:47

That’s so unfair against women. She’s the medal winner. There should be a ceremony to award her and the other women with medals.

NonPlayerCharacter · 01/08/2024 20:48

FOJN · 01/08/2024 20:44

Tandora also claims to be a feminist.

Tandora also thinks women and girls can have penises.

Words are completely meaningless to this poster. Makes me wonder why they accuse other posters of using abusive language. If man means woman and feminist means prioritising male wants over female needs and sex doesn't exist but male people are female people...how does this person conceptualise anything at all?

OneOfThoseOldFashionedWomen · 01/08/2024 20:50

This. There is no consent.

Maireanto1 · 01/08/2024 20:51

One of the positives of this Olympics has been the blatent display of wokeness, transvestites & blatent sexualisation of the Opening Ceremony which has disgusted & woke the world up.
Now poor Angela Carini having no choice but to fight a man in her opening round of the Olympics in her designated women's catagory, having her nose broken after 48 seconds. The world will be silenced no longer, our language will no longer be policed nor we accept men in our designated females spaces any longer in the interest of "equality".

The Algerian lad said he would fight anyone in that case why won't he go sparring with the big boys in the male category instead of breaking a woman's nose?

Fetlocksblowininthewind · 01/08/2024 20:51

@Tandora also thinks that feminists/people who recognise biological reality are "sexual fascists" but has yet to clarify what that actually means.

I think what Tandora means by that is that Tandora doesn't like it when females want to exclude males from sex segregated spaces, prisons, etc, & that lesbians don't want to have sex with the ever charmingly phrased "lady dick".

Women shouldn't be allowed to say no right Tandora?

Tandora seems to have a bit of a problem with actual women, and seems to be a bit of a not so secret MRA. IMO of course.

Funny how Tandora & her ilk try to police our language, demand pronouns blah blah blah but the minute we call them out & ask them to refer to us women by our birth sex as female we are not allowed police speech!

carini voluntarily went to participate in a women’s boxing match, with women.

the man voluntarily participated knowing they were cheating and would be beating up a women.

Carnini lost out at the chance to fairly compete in her sport because of him.

Whats happened at the BBC they reporr the IBA stating they basically sex tested them and they don't qualify for the women's. Alongside the ioc wailing its not fair.

I keep thinking I dreamt it. I wonder what the staff meetings will be like tomorrow?

gailforce2 · 01/08/2024 20:58

Well if the contest today was bad I dread to think what tomorrow will be like having been on Twitter and seen photos of the two boxers.

littlbrowndog · 01/08/2024 20:58

I never seen it. Was watching Andy. At tennis. Yeah can you tell us what was said please 🙌

BaronessEllarawrosaurus · 01/08/2024 21:00

@Maireanto1 very different, they would never normally contradict the just high testosterone comment the IOC made but to actually report on the IBA is definitely a first

littlbrowndog · 01/08/2024 21:00

Eek what did they say .
