To not know how people can afford Heinz Beans?

Well how? My budget will only stretch to supermarket own brand beans, yet everywhere I look people are eating Heinz beans. How do they afford it?

We were lucky and discoveted Grandad's wartime hoard of Izal toilet paper, so we're using that in place of the expensive quilted stuff, which frees up some money for the Heinz Baked Beans.

One has to be careful as screwing it up too much can create some rather unpleasant sharp peaks.
A double egded sword I suppose, at least that's what it feels like. 😫

I make sacrifices. One fewer Starbucks a day means I can buy Heinz

I can afford heinz not that I buy it, over rated Morrisons, Aldi and mns are nicer.

I buy Aldi beans in bulk, 17 years old, falling to bits, and a rusty lid or 2, but still going strong. I can't afford heinz on my 6 figure salary . 😂

You know you can make your own starbucks at home, from scratch, and avoid their UPF syrups? It's basic science you know 🤣

It’s like how can people spend £4 on one coffee a day every day?

One of the most pathetic things I have seen was before Costa moved to its current location, it was in a unit opposite work. During the 2021 lockdown, Costa were able to open but for takeaways via app. The queues for Costa were about 25 people. Plus one week we had snow. By the time they walked out of Costa with their drink and walked home - coffee would be cold.

Never seen the attraction of these coffee chains. If I’m out and about- I go to the independent cafes and those with a handful of cafes in the area

I honestly make a nicer coffee in my dulce gusto machine, than Starbucks, costa, and it saves a fortune. I just make it in a travel cup, so take it out the door with me. The lattes out are always so milky, and not hot enough! I think Covid taught a lot of people that we're getting ripped off, for something that can often be made better at home; it's easy when you know how. Alot of places need to upt their game!
Anyway i digress...

Maybe they sold their sense of humour to buy beans?

I don't like Heinz beans, so don't buy them. Usually supermarket own brand, or Branstons.

I made DP drive me to 3 different garden centres today to buy Heinz baked bean plants and the staff were terribly unhelpful and in one case downright insolent.

I felt like I was trapped in an Alan Partridge scene with that dreadful motel receptionist.
