To think it'd not be mad to put the heating on?

It's July. And I won't put the heating on out of principle. And because it'd make me so sad to have the heating on when it's technically summer. I know that I should have the heating on depending on the temperature and not the season but I can't bring myself to 'admitting' that it's not summer.

But I'm sitting here, on a work call, thinking how cold it is even though I'm wearing jeans and a jumper. I can't be the only one surely, who's cold enough to long for the heating to be on even though it's July... I'm in the South of England.

I brought new slippers today. That's my annual October activity.

It was vaguely sunny when I picked my nephews up from school. Felt nice to see a bit of blue sky!

Then spoiled it all by pissing down about 7pm!

@PickAChew i think we live in the same town? 🤔😂

If you live where I think you live, I live in your county town, @QuestionableMouse@QuestionableMouse - the pissing down started about 5:30 for us.

I live in Hartlepool 😂

Grim outside again (still?! I can't tell anymore!)

Saw this on Facebook - very cool!

I had you just a few miles north, @QuestionableMouse . Proper blue sky this morning. I can actually hang washing out and with any luck it will a) dry and b) not get shat on by all the fucking magpies.
