Humans love large scale spectacles and uniting events and always have. Look at the Greek and Roman amphitheatres! I recommend you look up False God, Dress, Afterglow, Guilty as Sin, So High School, and the performance of Vigilante Shit... if you think she steers clear of sex as a topic. Even her first single contained the lyric "just a boy in a chevvy truck, that had a tendency of getting stuck, on back roads at night", thats quite a clear implication. I don't know where this common misconception comes from.

Again good for her I really do think it's lovely to not have oversexualised performances with sexualised lyrics so it is good to know people can be successful without all that crap.

She’s a great business woman but also a bit of a slimy con artist. If a man behaved how she does there’d be an outcry.

I don’t get that the 35 year old woman ex colleague I know is mad about her (has liked her since she was 25 it would seem, eg 2010) but her 2 DD’s (both under 10) like Taylor and they’re all going to her concert in Manchester so I don’t think it’s that awful.

She does a good job of reinventing herself and being enough different to appeal to people, I watched her Bejewelled video the other day, hmmm interesting but very pedestrian.

Well I like her because I like the music - good tunes and songs, diversity

But also as a role model - the one I never had as a child / young adult

She doesn't sell herself on sex the way earlier mega successful female artists did

She is a musician creating her own material that has lyrics that are often funny, relatable , and sometimes ( justifiably ) angry.

She is a woman doing what many men have done for decades, making music that many people like , only usually the men get to do it without ( quite so much of) the associated hate

So far this year I have seen Taylor accused of massive ticket prices ( our tickets were cheaper than the cheapest Springsteen tickets but Taylor was singled out )

I've seen Taylor blamed for lack of hotel accommodation for homeless people in Edinburgh- although this happens every summer because Edinburgh hotels get full of visitors eg to the festival and fringe

She was blamed to doing too many varients of an album - by someone whose album had more than twice as many varients available

There are lots of bands whose music I don't rate who are nevertheless very popular, I never find a need to comment ( bitch ) about them

In the most respectful way possible, I really am not phased by the slightest, because you're the one who felt triggered & bothered enough to reply to me and continue going on. There is evidence and witnesses and many many things out there that align with many prophecies. However, it is not my job to convince you or make you feel better about your own beliefs. We are individual human beings with a right of will that God gave us to either choose to believe or not. I'll finish it off here on this topic, I would rather die knowing I fully accept God and I followed the morals and obligations as a follower of Christ than die knowing he is real and I chose to reject him to feed my worldy egos. I think it is a feat of fitness and endurance that she can perform 40 songs over 3 hours each evening, keeping the audience engaged throughout. I've seen the Disney version of the Eras tour and it is exhausting just to watch....

She's not a "con artist" for playing younger than she actually is, which is an absolutely 100% mainstream popstar thing.

Her actual age is extremely well known (better, I would think, than perhaps any other person in the public eye) because she named an album after her birth year. She's not exactly hiding it.

Actually I’ve just remembered a thread here about the JLo & Shakira Superbowl half time show. One of the most uplifting and energised performances I’ve ever seen. And posters were complaining about their age. These posters don’t like people enjoying themselves, or they think showmanship is for men.
