I'm excited as we are coming into the summer.

And AIBU gets the most people.

I love hearing about other people's travels.

I am going to Spain for two weeks. One week in valencia and one week in benidorm.

I didn't ask people when they are going away

I said "WHERE are you going ".@Carly944

I know, but everyone's happily volunteering the info anyway. 😂

Then that’s on them…

RomeoRivers · 24/05/2024 16:27

We got back from Tenerife last night, but it was mostly overcast.

Luckily we’re off to Ikos Olivia in 2 weeks, then Ibiza in July.

Squeezing all my holidays into my 2nd trimester 😂

SooticaTheWitchesCat · 24/05/2024 16:31

I am going to a wedding in Athens in July then we are off to Turkey a couple of weeks later

GoofyGoldie · 24/05/2024 17:21

DH & I had a weekend in Yorkshire for his 60th in February. Last bank hol DH, DD, DSS & 2 dogs had a long weekend at Budel Bay, near Bamburgh, Northumberland.
In August we are going to Scotland, somewhere nearish Oban. We usually holiday in Scotland, but usually further up in the highlands.
We haven't been abroad for years. DD has never been on a plane. I'd love to take her but I have Stage 4 cancer, insurance would cost a lot & I'm often not well. When I'm gone hubby is going to take her & DSS abroad, probably to Italy.

CatrionaCat · 24/05/2024 18:22

Germany. We've had three short city breaks there previously and this year we're going for longer. I've been trying to learn a bit of German but am finding it extremely hard and don't feel as though I've picked up much.

Doteycat · 24/05/2024 18:27

I am LOVING all the trips to Taylor!!!!

Choochoo21 · 24/05/2024 18:27

I’ve done the £9.50 sun holidays so we’ll be going to the Isle of Wight for 4 days in October.

The only issue is that it’s during term time 😳 so I’ve not told my DD just incase we can’t go yet.

Tinytigertail · 24/05/2024 18:32

Canaries end of June for a family wedding.
Cottage in the Peaks in August
Sicily in September and Sri Lanka for Christmas.

ToxicChristmas · 24/05/2024 18:36

Florida next month. Can't wait. Desperately needed after a stressful year so far.

LumiB · 24/05/2024 18:37

8 nights in Malta, day trip to Paris, weekend break to Prague, Croatia for 10 nights and maybe a trip to the US tbc

LinManuelMirandaIsAGenius · 24/05/2024 18:46

Setting off tomorrow (should be packing now!) for a week in a static caravan near Henley on Thames/Marlow. We’ve been a few times before and love it. Loads to do in the area. DD’s (17 and 12) really enjoy it. We’ll go into London for the day a couple of times and just mooch about the area.

At the end of July we have four days in Paris, with tickets to a couple of Olympic events. Very excited about that!

Me and DD1 are going to London at the end of August for my sister’s birthday. We’ve got tickets to see Mean Girls - The Musical.

Then in December we are booked to go to New York for five nights. It’s a big anniversary for me and DH and also DD1’s 18th birthday, so we’re pushing the boat out a bit! Was last there 20 years ago, so really looking forward to taking the DDs.

Alltheyearround · 24/05/2024 18:50

Pembrokeshire.

Keep your fingers crossed that the sun shines.

Accommodation is near to friends who live there so we get to hang out and catch up. Can't wait!

In a couple of years hope to take DS on holiday somewhere a bit further (after exams). He's never been abroad so it will be an adventure.

SweetChilliGirl · 24/05/2024 20:51

Five nights in Luxembourg and eight in Burgundy. A week split between Venice and Verona and then a long weekend in Prague. Holidays are really all I spend money on.

TizerorFizz · 24/05/2024 22:24

Botswana in early July and then Atlantic Canada in September. We like wildlife holidays but Eastern Canada looks unspoilt and has interesting links with Scotland. Plus whales!!!

justjuggling · 25/05/2024 00:56

Italy, Germany and Ireland this year. Am very excited about all 3 trips!

CerealPonderer · 25/05/2024 00:59

Four nights in Mallorca next month (just me and dh 😱😁). Then ten days in Greece in August with us and the dc.

Asiatoyork · 25/05/2024 01:34

We’ve been to Taiwan, Cebu and Japan and we’ll go to NZ later in the year. Then we’ll relocate from Asia and all the travel fun will be over for a while!

MaryShelley1818 · 25/05/2024 03:30

Going to Florida for 21nts in October. Absolutely can't wait 😊

garlictwist · 25/05/2024 03:46

We are going to Hungary for a few days next week.

In August getting the train to the Alps for a week.

Getting married in November so will probably have some kind of honeymoon but not figured that out. We'll probably wait until next year when the weather is better.

MinnieMountain · 25/05/2024 06:46

Whereabouts in Pembrokeshire @Alltheyearround ?

WalkWithMeSuzieLee · 25/05/2024 06:52

Currently in Spain, went to the Netherlands at Easter, holidaying in the Lake District in the summer hols.

Ambi · 25/05/2024 06:52

Renting a motorhome and travelling around Scotland. It's our first proper road trip holiday. I spent days choosing locations to visit and sites to stay in.

We're really looking forward to it and hope we all get bitten by the motorhoming bug so we buy one and travel more often, I have dreams of #vanlife especially now that I wfh. Although we'll probably just get bitten by midges instead.

Tara336 · 25/05/2024 07:10

@Ambi can you recommend a website that gives you good info on places to stop as would love to try a camper van trip in Svotland

Ambi · 25/05/2024 07:33

@Tara336 I used campsites.co.uk as I could search by Motorhome. Also used Google maps which was excellent to search an area and typed "touring caravan park" and looked through which ones were the best for us, (family with dog and big enough spaces with EHU for the motorhome).

I've downloaded park4night app too to find little stopping areas and best places to park in towns etc.

Asiatoyork · 25/05/2024 07:47

Love the idea of a Scotland tour too
