Having watched her interview this evening, everything about her screamed 'liar'. Her language, her demeanor, her body language. I just wonder what other think?

I’m watching it now. It’s really uncomfortable. He’s baiting her and she’s falling over all her lies.

I’ve met people like her before.

Her repeated mentions of BBC Breaking News is quite funny though.

Yes, I found that really weird.

Particularly when she said she saw that Gadd had a show at the Edinburgh festival 5 years ago on bbc breaking news.

???

Nobody knew who Gadd was 5 years ago. Why the hell would that be on BBC Breaking News??

Also, her smug little smile and laugh when Piers said he doesn't know anybody with 6 email addresses. "Well, you obviously don't know many people then" BlushBlushBlushBlush

Starlightstarbright3 · 09/05/2024 23:50

I would have loads of questions .

why would you send a registered post to say good luck for the show .

why would you be emailing a bat man you met in a pub a few times .

why would you go to the show of someone you only met a handful of times .

You discussed a childhood toy with a Batman ?

so many things that didn’t make sense .

oh and she has definitely seen the show nothing mentioned about it was a surprise

ILoveYouItsRuiningMyLife · 09/05/2024 23:53

Batman 😂

SurelySmartie · 09/05/2024 23:55

She’s clearly mentally unwell.

Timetocheersme · 09/05/2024 23:57

It's evident that this lady is very unwell. Some of these comments are so cruel. I'm hoping this is all a big social experiment and she's in on it, because otherwise I worry about how this will pan out for her.

Susieblue18 · 09/05/2024 23:59

Does anyone know if she is a lawyer. She said she had an ordinary law degree and a legal diploma. In Scotland you have to have a legal diploma to practice as a lawyer and need an honours degree to do the diploma so that was a bit odd.

LeopardsRockingham · 10/05/2024 00:18

Also the repeating of how many emails a day would it take to add up to 41,000?
It seemed like she knew the exact answer but was pretending this was an absolutely unsolvable equation to "get away with it"

And AGAIN with bringing benefits into every fucking thread 🙄

Aaaaaaaaaaaaargh · 10/05/2024 00:24

When Piers asks if she's challenging Richard to release the evidence you can see the look of absolute horror flash across her face

seekinginnerpeace · 10/05/2024 00:37

Am I missing something? Did she say she didn't know where he lived? And yet she admitted to sending one letter? How?

We decided to take this down as it is not in the spirit of the site.

The whole interview was riddled with inconsistencies, wasn't it?

She was also weirdly defensive about pointless things - like, just say you got a 2-2 at uni, babes! - and her mask slipped a few times when she got angry and threw out some barbed comments that made her look anything but like the professional woman she was trying to convince us she is.

Overall, she was just SO MARTHA!

I can't see her life improving for a while, after that,

NotSentFromIphone · 10/05/2024 00:54

I was thinking earlier this must be a massive international fake social experiment to prove how easy we are taken in and the whole series and PM interview is all fantasy but I guess the truth really is stranger than fiction.

Whatever the real truth is, Fiona needs help, she is not mentally well.

Oh, I would love to have been a fly on the wall in Lorraine Kelly's house 🤣

Sure she said it was posted to the theatre.

The video seems to have been taken down? I’m in Australia and it says it’s gone. Would like to watch it I’m genuinely fascinated.

Looking at both Glasgow and Edinburgh unis website, it doesn't state that you need an honours degree. It simply states that to gain entry to the diploma, you must:

Have obtained an undergraduate law degree from a Scottish university (LLB), including passes in the required foundation subjects.

One of the most awkward viewing experiences. It’s just watching someone clearly mentally ill unravel.

I agree, I turned off when she started contradicting herself about halfway through. Really uncomfortable watch.

kkalley · 09/05/2024 23:03

Fiona harvey backed every answer from piers from a "law" perspective, when he asked her about her law degree and grade, she ignored it 4 times, begs to belive she did not achieve or attend, fabricating the law fantasy, which totally invalidates all of the answers she gave which was the final blow piers was looking for, not to mention the 6 email addreses and 4 phones

Because she didn't get a grade as such for her degree. It was an ordinary degree, so pass or fail. It's not the same as an honours degree where you get a grade, or classification.

Go to the website of The Sun (as in the tabloid newspaper), find the dropdown menu where you can select which country's version you'd like, set it to UK. There's a full length version in their native video player on the front page of the desktop site. It's still working as of 0200 A/BST.

I'd love to tell you what time that equates to in Australia. Our oldest boy has just (literally just, like his flight touched down less than 48 hours ago!) moved to Australia, NSW and all I can tell you so far is that it's lots of different times in Aus at the same time🤯! Sure he'll explain it once he's over the jet lag lol

I don’t think Morgan understood that as he kept pushing her for a grade.

Same, I felt like shouting through the TV "it's an ordinary degree, you don't get a grade for it!".

Her mother was a single parent who, by the sound of it, struggled to make both ends meet. There are impoverished middle class people. I have been one myself.

Combattingthemoaners · 10/05/2024 02:43

Junction7 · 09/05/2024 21:40

It made me squirm. I know she seemed mentally ill, but what mental illness would make you more likely to be obsessive/prone to stalking/extreme lying?

Schizophrenia or a personality disorder. I think it’s really poor taste interviewing her when she clearly is not well. She needs help not taken advantage of by Piers Morgan. It doesn’t help that she is not a very likeable character but surely as a society we have to do better than pointing and laughing at vulnerable people (which is basically what the interview is).

BustyLee · 10/05/2024 02:45

JellyBeanFactory · 09/05/2024 21:56

I can't understand why, if as Piers Morgan said, records are publicly available, he did not have them in front of him and challenge her with actual evidence. His research team will have the wherewithal / the contacts / a way-in everywhere - so surely he could have produced a copy of a court order or details of her previous stalking accusations stories or her academic history. He did not produce any such evidence. It was all hearsay, on both parts.

It was such an awkward interview. I didn't believe much of what she said and I fear for PM that he may become an obsession now.

Piers Morgan has been obsessing about and stalking Meghan Markle for years now - and all because she cancelled a dinner date with him to go on a proper date with PH. Perhaps Fiona Harvey should have interviewed him instead of the other way round.

PoopingAllTheWay · 10/05/2024 03:19

I personally think they have both lied to an extent

I think yes she ‘stalked’ him but i think he added things for the show, like her attacking him, Assult, sexual assault, criminal damage etc

I think both of them need alot of help

Noone should be ‘hunting’ her down, giving her hate and certainly not death threats
I think shes unwell

People really are awful human beings sometimes

BustyLee · 10/05/2024 03:26

I am starting to wish I hadn’t watched the show. And o definitely should not have watched the PM interview.

it sounds as though Gadd encouraged her stalking - he admits this in The show - because he wanted the attention. The joke he makes about hanging her curtains is calculated to hook her. He knew she was vulnerable and exploited her. I think the real characters people should be tracking down are the other people who worked in the pub. It would be great to hear what they think about the whole affair.

Mummyoflittledragon · 10/05/2024 04:47

Agreed, I’d love to hear the take from other people, who were there.

Neither Harvey nor Gadd come across well in the series, especially as he admits some elements were made up. I do wonder how many friends she actually has because I felt very uneasy watching that interview.
