Having watched her interview this evening, everything about her screamed 'liar'. Her language, her demeanor, her body language. I just wonder what other think?

Sorry. Can someone tell me why this matters?

BlackFriYay · 12/05/2024 23:21

I think all the focus on her supposed mental illness is just absolving her of personal responsibility.

She does not lack capacity, she is reasonably intelligent, coherent and articulate.

If she has anything diagnosable it'll be a personality disorder and a personality disorder is exactly that, it's her personality.

She knows full well that her behaviour is piss poor and that's why she's tying herself in knots to deny it. She doesn't want to be held accountable for stalking people. This isn't somebody who is unable to see that their behaviour is wrong. She knows and has no desire to change.

I don't like it when poor behaviour is explained away as being beyond somebodies control.

I feel similarly about alcoholics, but that's another thread.

Exactly

fiona harvey is a narcissist, she is a very dangerous person with her lies and she portraits herself as a very high class woman who is a lawyer, which is lies. All of her friends are lawyers, another lie. I dont believe she has a boyfriend who is a lawyer either, she was very sketch when she was asked about her law degree, numerous of times her face colour was changing, she couldnt keep up with the questions being asked, everytime it was a different answer. I think everyone should avoid that crazy psychotic woman if they ever crossed her path she seems like a very vicious woman when being called out on her lies and her craziness. Can i just add piers morgan did not bully her in the slightest i was hoping he was actually going to call her out on being a liar but instead he was nice about it and asked if she would do a lie detector which again she looked she was petrified when he asked about that, we wont be seeing a lie detector from her so maybe baby reindeer could do one?

@BlackFriYay suggest you read some of David Eagleman's books or watch his series on the brain. It's more complicated than you realise and neuroscience is moving forward at pace every day. We're long past the days of witch trials and good people/ evil people. It may in fact be the case that none of us has any real control over what we do and decision making is something of an illusion in itself.

So if punishment is less black and white than it used to be, that leaves us with the other three reasons for policing behaviour seeking justice: protecting the public, rehabilitation and deterrent. I don't think people like FH can be deterred. Can she be rehabilitated? Personality disorders are hard to treat, especially at her age. And is she dangerous enough to need an intervention to protect her from others? Possibly but would the cost justify the means? Probably not.

Therefore, we need to find ways to live with such people and instead of seeking to make them culpable, treat them with compassion as far as we are personally able.

I'll make a note of your reccomendation.

@Geolouise your diction has the ring of FH about it. Are you her?

Some of her posts are really quite nasty, accusing council staff of all having learning difficulties.

There's very little to like about her at all. She'll be loving the attention, she seems to think she's a beautiful stunning clever woman when she's actually a morally-disgusting troll.

Goodtogossip · 14/05/2024 15:03

whether she's lying or not could be proven if someone were to do a FOI request about her 'convictions/cautions' etc. also if she has a Law Degree in Scotland it's either a pass or a fail so not too concerning that she wasn't giving a grade.
She said she didn't have his mobile number then said she'd sent him a 'few texts' then said she didn't know where he lived but had sent him 'one letter' she was definitely lying but she believes her own version so has convinced herself it didn't happen or it doesn't fit her narrative so dismisses it as untrue.
Where are the other workers from the bar, they'd know what truly happened, where is the girlfriend she allegedly attacked, she can confirm if it happened or not. AND where is the man who allegedly raped him. Why has no one called him out on it all. Someone somewhere knows who he is.
It's quite sad that everyone is interested in her & not wanting to find out who the real criminal is & see him brought to justice.

DinnaeFashYersel · 14/05/2024 15:12

I see she's demanding £1 million from Piers Morgan.

🤣🤣🤣

She could have gone to a bidding war for that interview. Before she gave it!

RazzlePuff · 14/05/2024 23:03

Fool she is! £250? Who would even bother to talk to Piers for £250

Think she is lying about the £250, she ranted about Gadds millions !! She knew it was worth more than 250.

No one will release that under FOI surely. It’s personal data.

NonPlayerCharacter · 15/05/2024 08:51

I don't know about cautions but convictions would be a matter of public record, although they might be hard to find if you don't know exactly where and when they were given and you'd need to be sure it wasn't a different person with the same name.

Packetofcrispsplease · 19/05/2024 11:05

LiterallyOnFire · 09/05/2024 21:55

An ordinary degree in Scotland is one year less than an honours degree, I think. So they were at cross purposes on that one. I suspect an ordinary degree up there doesn't attract an overall grade classification, but I'm sure a Scots MNer will be able to clarify.

Yes you’re correct .
I am not sure why Piers Morgan was pushing on that detail .
She just passed , with an ordinary degree and that’s that .

Bobhindge · 27/06/2024 10:38

0tterish · 09/05/2024 21:43

It was difficult viewing. I wonder why she thought it was a good idea to have an interview with him. And why was she so cagey about the degree? Why did she not just make up the grade if she didn't do it

I don't think he was trying to catch her out on never doing a degree. I think he was making a point that if she really had a photogenic memory surley she would have done amazing in her exams in uni and gotten like 90% in her degree because she would have memorised the text books word for word. Plus she would have been bragging about how amazing she did..and it would further explain why she's never had a long term law related job - aside her stalker and pysco personality.

If she did terrible that might suggest she doesn't have a photogenic memory as she kept saying she does.. she kept saying her photogenic memory means she can remember every detail about the events around metting Gadd.

Pretty sure he was trying to catch her out on not having a photogenic memory and that its very possible she has forgotten certain details.
Like come on Fiona everyone knows you are a compulsive liar...you even lie about having a good memory. If you can't remember the facts very well then you must be fabricating some of your stories

Bobhindge · 27/06/2024 12:11

NotThatWrong · 10/05/2024 17:48

I suppose she must have been paid handsomely for the interview?

@notthatwrong she was paid something like £250 and I think on Facebook said she was considering sueing for him being a bully and not paying her reasonably 🙈

A real account that's since switched off, possibly as a suggestion or Facebook banning her for threating and defaming MANY journals and politicians and other lawyers by name

Anyway it has dozens of photos of her posted as many as like 8 or 10yrs ago or so. Also crazy insane racest posts from as far back.

All other fake accounts might have 2 or 3 photos of her and only created since the show.
