Does your uni aged children know who Heather Mills is?

Heather Mills was constantly in the media in the 2000’s as the wife of Sir Paul McCartney. If you was to ask your DC at uni or in their 20’s who she was would they know who she is? And what she was known for?

Why would she be 'famous' for being someone's ex wife? Has she achieved anything on her own?

Hi OP! If you’re an agent, and have Heather as a client, then it doesn’t look like she has much reach in that market, judging by this thread. I’m not sure what projects she would be a good fit for.

Fyi - I have asked my young adult child and they’d never heard of her.

Paul's heart was always with Linda ( just my observations from interviews and things over the years)
I'm not suggesting he didn't love Heather , but I don't think it was a happy marriage really and didn't last that long. Only going by the tabloids though !
He has remarried since , I think she is called Nancy (but I'd have to look it up! )

I was aware of her before she got together with PMc - her accident was in the news, and she got a certain amount of publicity being a model with a prosthetic leg.

Having said that, she was most well known due to her marriage and subsequent divorce.

As ppl have said this is a very specific question but no they wouldn't have a clue who Heather Mills is.

I've asked the question and they know who Paul is, but not Heather. Which is exactly what I thought would be the case.

Heather is great. She's vilified because she's a disabled woman and Paul McCartney is wrongly regarded as a national treasure. Anyone who followed their divorce proceedings can see that, as with most divorces, there was blame on both sides and Paul did some absolutely shocking things.

As I said up the thread, I met her once, with Paul, at the recording of a tv programme. I can’t say I particularly took to her, in a brief chat (but why would I? It was a random conversation about vegetarianism with P), but she was definitely the brains of the operation compared to him.

Nope not a clue. They would know who Paul McCartney was but if you showed them a photo of the Beatles I'm not sure they'd pick the right one!

No, she only knows who the Beatles are because of that film where the guy bumps his head and wakes up in an alternative reality where there are no Beatles. And even then only John Lennon is really mentioned.

Her dd is the same age as mine so probably at university but I think that your university friends parents could be really famous and they wouldn't take much notice. They are just your parents. The only parent of my DD's flatmates that anyone took any notice of is a dentist and she gave them all a check up in the summer holidays. That's better than famous.

I’d think anyone younger than 40 unless they are a huge Paul Macartny fan wouldn’t know.
