Does your uni aged children know who Heather Mills is?

Heather Mills was constantly in the media in the 2000’s as the wife of Sir Paul McCartney. If you was to ask your DC at uni or in their 20’s who she was would they know who she is? And what she was known for?

I'm not surprised. I know he's a singer (musician?) but couldn't name any of his songs, and I'm early 30s..

He was in the Beatles and did the frog chorus in the 80,s I wouldn't really expect younger generations to know who he was
I just asked my son and he said he had heard of him and asked was he an actor 🤣

I've asked both my university students and the answer was no. When I explained that she is an ex wife of Paul McCartney's they didn't really understand why they should know her.

DH is 46 and I can guarantee he won’t know who she is. I only know because I heard something on the radio about her divorce settlement demands.

I think HM maybe missing the existence of The News of The World - a publication that seemed to know her every move every week 🤔 I remember being very surprised at the time that PM had married her, she seemed very fame hungry and he had always managed to live a very private life on his farm in Sussex.

Would my uni age kids know who she was? No, but then they wouldn’t know who Melinda messenger, Dani Behr, Carole Smilie or Michael Barrymore were either. All well known at the time, completely unbothered by any publicity now.

I remember her and Paul nearly getting attacked by a seal they were bothering in the Arctic or somewhere.

The tabloids used call her Mucca and they called Paul McCartney Macca. Funnily enough Mucca is the Italian word for cow.

Mine knows who Paul McCartney is. Knows alot I about his career and the children and his current wife. If asked about Heather he would assume I was talking about his daughter . HM is completely irrelevant to this age group
