just thought I'd point out, there's a whole subreddit dedicated to MN users mocking threads / posters from this site

Thought I'd point that out to people who may be unaware

I love the tattle thread. Let’s face it there is a lot of shite posted on here and some nasty posters who just want to kick people when they’re down. They make fun of those people on there. I’ve been sucked into some troll posts on here before but that thread notices them straight away and it’s like a realty check.

I go to the 'trolls' one quite a lot, sometimes to find interesting threads on Mumsnet, sometimes to get their take on certain threads here. They're not a great bunch though, very cynical and judgy, think they're better than people here. I'm sure they're mostly wrong about people's motives here too.

The problem with the Tattle thread is they don't seem to know what's going on elsewhere on the site. For instance they slag off MN for being arseholes about Meghan or Kate Have they ever read the Royal threads on there? The Tattle sub on Reddit is a good read though, when they are not all falling out.

It certainly isn't. I roast the hell out of the Kardashians' horrible outfits, and while I might not mind a little of their money, I am not jealous of them in any way, and certainly not of their ugly, trashy appearance.

I love how people have takes so much time out of their apparently busy days to prove how little they care about it.

Many of the mntrll posts are very accurate though.

Sometimes I’ve gone on there to see if an irritating poster is irritating others too.

They are indeed.

Although to be fair, it would be accurate here too if it was allowed.

Also the humour there is like the humour of Mumsnet old - harder to find nowadays here, everyone seems to take everything so seriously.
