Most of the people that post on there are MN users themselves. They’ve created another group that sit at the other lunch table in the school hall. Seriously though there is a lot of rubbish on both MN and Reddit. I don’t think one is much superior really. I do think it’s unkind to slag off specific users who are clearly genuine long term posters (a lot of trolls on MN) and there was a thread taking the piss out of Mnetters posting their god awful outfits which again is just unnecessarily mean.

They talk about problem posters, I’ve no issue with that.

I like that sub reddit.
Often saves me time.
They can spot creative writing and pervs a mile off.
I'm sure mods on here would be quicker referring to it.
It also began off the back of the debacle that was a crowdfunding shitshow.

Many years ago I was called disablist on that group. My crime? Saying I didn't have a bedside lamp near my own bed. Reason why I didn't have one at the time was that the main switch was reachable from the bed.

They don't need to, there's an established Mumsnet discussion already ongoing, thread part 35. Or maybe 36, I'm not sure. Mostly taking the mickey out of hideously expensive high fashion items highlighted in Style and Beauty. I don't think they're jealous, more a bit bemused at the cost of stuff that looks so cheap.
