No. They take photos of people who've taken the time to post their outfits so people can see what looks nice and they they laugh at them and sometimes their homes. I can only assume it's insecurity over their own dress sense otherwise it's not very nice is it.

Most of the people that post on there are MN users themselves. They’ve created another group that sit at the other lunch table in the school hall. Seriously though there is a lot of rubbish on both MN and Reddit. I don’t think one is much superior really. I do think it’s unkind to slag off specific users who are clearly genuine long term posters (a lot of trolls on MN) and there was a thread taking the piss out of Mnetters posting their god awful outfits which again is just unnecessarily mean.

The Reddit group can spot a creative writer at 100 paces though.
