Mocking MN posters

just thought I'd point out, there's a whole subreddit dedicated to MN users mocking threads / posters from this site

Thought I'd point that out to people who may be unaware

I mean, MN posts end up trending on Daily Mail and being discussed on radio stations around the world. Its not surprising that people find some of the threads funny!

For the sake of accuracy - rather than malicious hearsay! - the sub on reddit was set up for the purposes of troll hunting. Something not allowed on MN.

As it's described on the sub:

A place to say what you can't on Mumsnet. Trollhunters are welcome. Trolls are not. We discuss trolls but don't support trolling.

My DD and DH constantly take the piss out of my MN addiction use. If I tell them something, they always say, don't tell me, you read it on Mumsnet. I roll my eyes a lot.

In fairness to redditors (and tattlers) they mainly do the forbidden troll hunting and do all the questioning many mumsnetters want to do on here but can't because of the site rules. I like to think of the sites coexisting rather than competing. But there again I only use forums for entertainment purposes and like to touch grass occasionally.

Actually I will take that back, there are apparently multiple MN-dissing subs and there is indeed one calls MNTrolls which does actually have a high proportion of troll hunting.

But then their current top thread is “values of MN which make you think 'why bother with this place’?”, and the second one is slagging off posters responding to a thread with over-literal answers. So I’d say maybe 50/50 split with troll hunting and general slagging off.

Oh how strange, I replied to somebody saying the sub is 50/50 trollhunting and general complaints, and my reply was auto-deleted! No swearing whatsoever, very inoffensive answer. I wonder what has triggered that 🤔

Oh is there? I already spend way too much time on here. I daren't go look on Reddit or I will get sucked in.

Why is this post an AIBU? CBA voting to be fair, it's old news, just being dragged up again. I'm sure if you'd searched the threads, you'd have found a load already covering this subject. Let the Redditors get on with it, I just don't see the point of this post!
