To want every women in England to vote Tory at the GR

1000 replies

Hurrydash · 28/03/2024 02:01

So I don't agree with Angela Rayner's description of the Tories as scum, but I get her drift and if she'd been more tempered in her language I probably would have bought in.

HOWEVER

For me - and actually should be got everyone - the only real issue at the next GE is freedom of speech/women's rights.

I see Labour as the destroyer of these and so must vote against them. The only meaningful way to do this is to vote Tory which I am reluctant but prepared to do.

Is this unreasonable?

Happy to be convinced - for real not just words - if there is evidence Labour (Starmer 1 in 1000 women have a dick) may see the light before the GE.

FFS. What madness is this...... vote Tory and allow them to continue fucking up our country...

I don't normally swear but I have limits. We have get to get rid of the bastards before they destroy every last institution that used to make the UK one of the best countries to live in.

LoudSnoringDog · 28/03/2024 03:38

Lol

I imagine you genuinely thought that you were suggesting something really good and beneficial here.

no thanks. Absolutely no fucking way.

are you up late drinking or taking drugs, OP?

Festivemoose · 28/03/2024 03:52

Fuck no.

Seaitoverthere · 28/03/2024 03:55

You do realise that a number of us who are saying hell will freeze over before voting Tory are not actually Labour supporters and just see them currently as the lesser of 2 evils which is a sorry state of affairs but the result of the last how ever many years of the shit show we have been and still are enduring?

Jo58 · 28/03/2024 03:57

BelfastBelle05 · 28/03/2024 03:18

Because nothing says women’s rights like record gynaecology waiting lists and lack of access to appropriate care after 14 years of Tory underfunding 👏

Quite. I feel like adequate gynae and obstetric care is a “nice to have” rather than an “essential to have” in many’s eyes.

Jo58 · 28/03/2024 03:58

Btw, hi Rishi.

2024anotheryear · 28/03/2024 04:00

I'd die before voting for the Conservative party.

They can fook right off.

JordanPeterson · 28/03/2024 04:00

Feminists, assuming that we are collectively part of some united sisterhood

& so we could all be rallied together to think + vote the same way

For what it's worth if I lived in UK I would vote for a conservative party

Not just because conservatives will protect biological sex in law

But for a variety of social & economic reasons

Please enlighten us on these social and economic reasons

"For what it's worth""

Since you don't have a vote here, not much.

Lwrenn · 28/03/2024 04:04

Fuck the tories, fuck Labour, fuck the 2 horse race of bastards who are complicit in genocide, in austerity, fuck them both.

I'd literally need guns to my children's heads to vote either of these evil fuckers in.

I'm politically homeless after many years of being a Labour member.

Neither party speak for me.
Public funding, cost of living, NHS waiting times, not calling for a ceasefire when premature babies in hospitals are being blown up.

Fuck them both. Evil, wicked, blood thirsty psychopaths.

Until a person of peace, common sense and compassion is an option, my right to not vote will be exercised.

marcopront · 28/03/2024 04:05

You are in an incredibly privileged position if you can make that the reason for voting.
You are obviously not affected by the damage to the NHS or the economy. You're lucky.

piscofrisco · 28/03/2024 04:09

Yes the Tories. Famous advocates of the rights of women. Of the rights of everyone in fact, who isn't their mate/a party donor.

You must be off your rocker op.

decionsdecisions62 · 28/03/2024 04:10

I challenge you to get me to vote Tory! I don't actually give a shit who is on the side of women. I just know the stories have fucked the country, run the NHS into the grave, caused Brexit, caused the deaths of thousands more people during Covid than they should, the list goes on.

If having a voice is so important why are you using it to spout such bullshit?

waftabout · 28/03/2024 04:11

Hurrydash · 28/03/2024 03:27

I am not a bot. Would have got the title right ie GE not GR if I was. Typo.

Just shit scared of a Labour government.

But looking at the posts below I am now even more scared.

AIBU?

PS can't sleep!

I think you're being ridiculous. People like you scare me.

This is how 'feminists' have ended up attaching themselves to any right wing nut job whose views appear to align with theirs in a tiny way.

If you really believe that conservatives are the party for women is not just naive, I think it's incredibly stupid. Look at the evidence in front of you. NHS, social care and education are in tatters. Satisfaction in the NHS is at an all time low and this is as a direct consequence of Tory cuts and decisions.

Tories hate women. I can't be clear enough about this, they don't care at all. They continue to make decisions and form policies that make our lives actively harder.

I don't think Labour are perfect, I have a huge amount of concerns about Labour as it looks now. It's not really the Labour Party that I want. But, what I do know is under Labour last time, things were better for women and children.

If you and your allies succeed in convincing women to vote for this party on a single issue then you really will have fucked us.

Mammyloveswine · 28/03/2024 04:15

Margritte · 28/03/2024 02:14

The Tory party is NO friend of women. Any vote for the Tories is a vote against women.

I spent decades being respectful of other people's political opinions. Now? I judge the living FUCK out of anyone voting Tory these days.

They are an absolute disgrace, in every sense.

👏 👏 👏

Agree

Polishedshoesalways · 28/03/2024 04:23

I agree op

ThePerfectDog · 28/03/2024 04:27

Not a fucking hope in hell would I vote Tory.

Bigtrip2026 · 28/03/2024 04:27

Womens rights have always been an issue and will continue to be, but given the absolutely God awful state of the country in so many ways that undermine men, women, the elderly and children daily I would say that's like saying watch out for the china as the titanic sinks.

GrammarTeacher · 28/03/2024 04:31

If you actually care about women's rights you wouldn't vote Tory. Their austerity policies have been found to have a disproportionate effect on women. They have refused to protect women working in parliament from men accused of the worst sexual offences.
This is ridiculous. You were sharing facilities with trans women for years before you suddenly realised it was a problem (you can't always tell). And yet due to this one issue you're happy to see the NHS and state education totally destroyed, our rivers literally full of shit and local services totally gone and blamed on councils (which they slashed the funding for).
Seriously, come on!

Please don’t not vote though. Find an independent candidate or alternative party, or spoil your ballot.

Apparent apathy (which is what not voting looks like to vote counters) is an invitation to the political groups to stop giving a shit (even more so). Because if they think you don’t care, then they don’t need to care.

bit if they know you’re ANGRY, if they know you see them for what they are (by placing your valuable vote somewhere else, or by spoiling your ballot and making your protest visible) then they will be scared into acting a bit more in our interests.

Your right to vote was hard earned and hard fought. Please ALWAYS use it.

allthingsred · 28/03/2024 04:35

Life long labour voter here.
They wont be getting my vote this year.
I just cant see the difference between them & conservatives.

Feel quite lost in who to vote for really.

Notthisone · 28/03/2024 04:39

Summerdew · 28/03/2024 02:17

YANBU, Labour have also said they won’t extend the childcare funding as nurseries don’t have the staff but haven’t put forward an alternative or realised that demand will create supply. Yet again policies that don’t support women. Heaven help our rights when Labour do get in.

In this instance demand will not create supply as there isn't any money in it. The current Tory plans are actually leading to reduced supply as its underfunded meaning businesses can't afford to stay open.

Containerhome · 28/03/2024 04:40

Yabu. No party has womens best interest

ChinChinDarlings · 28/03/2024 04:41

Look.

I would not base my vote on gender-critical politics.

I would look at a party who has had women leaders. Not one, but three. And the most hated woman. The Tories are utterly shit now, BUT, they don't just put white blokes forward as their leaders.

Everyone really hated Thatcher.

Fuck me, she did not fuck about. That woman was not for turning. If you like women Thatcher was a woman, she took the unions down. It's incredible what she did. A woman in the 1970s took the unions on and won.

I can't think of another female political leader that did what she did. Ever.

And people don't like what she did but I can't help think that a man would have been less hated.

I really admire her.

FFS she was the daughter of shop-owner from the flat-lands. Whether you agree with her politics or not, as a woman you have to admire her fucking chutzpah. She did not give an inch.

I know she's the most hated politician ever if you're left-wing. She knew that. She did not give a fuck. She did what she thought was right and I can't hate a woman who took men on and won.

I can't.
