To say F** OFF!!

Maybe I'm overacting but I don't think I am. The other day I was at a cafe with my friend (31F) and I was pouting my lips when she looked at me and said 'that reminds me' and started applying chapstick. I was a bit confused by this but then I realised what she meant and I was very angry. But then yesterday we went out again and I can't remember the conversation but I stuck my teeth out in a funny way and she looked me up and down and said in a smug voice 'I need to book my dentist appointment' and she set a reminder in her calendar. Am I overreacting or is this not on? And how do I approach it without sounding paranoid?

Oh come on people, so many nasty comments. When you are telling a story or having a good chat sometimes you sort of pull faces because you are animated about what you are talking about. No need to call somebody odd or weird.

If you’ve had lip fillers and Turkey teeth, you’re going to look weird whether you’re “pulling faces” or not 🤷‍♀️

I think deep down with context she has always been somewhat jealous of me which makes it worse. Without trying to sound like I think I look so much better than her, she isn't the best looking so I feel like she's trying to put me down for some reason. But I honestly have no reason to think why.

OP, if this is real then I feel very sorry for your friend. You say she has ‘some sort of superiority complex’ towards you, when it’s the other way around! I can’t believe you don’t even see it.

People like this are the worst. They think they’re so much better than others, act like arrogant show offs and they’re convinced people that don’t bow down and worship them are just jealous that they’re so beautiful. Must be a nice dream world to live in…

Well it could've been a positive thing like it reminded her she needs lip filler or something nice about my own lips rather than applying chapstick which is obviously implying my lips are dry. It is all negative with her.

She just probably was reminded she needed to do things when you gave her the cue. It’s perfectly normal.
