To say F** OFF!!

Maybe I'm overacting but I don't think I am. The other day I was at a cafe with my friend (31F) and I was pouting my lips when she looked at me and said 'that reminds me' and started applying chapstick. I was a bit confused by this but then I realised what she meant and I was very angry. But then yesterday we went out again and I can't remember the conversation but I stuck my teeth out in a funny way and she looked me up and down and said in a smug voice 'I need to book my dentist appointment' and she set a reminder in her calendar. Am I overreacting or is this not on? And how do I approach it without sounding paranoid?

Exactly, that's what I did. And yes, I had my teeth fitted with crowns in Turkey but calling it 'Turkey teeth' is very rude.

my dentist says he sees now over 15 people a month!!!! From teeth being done in turkey. It’s gotten so bad that the NHS is going to stop fixing them and you’ll have to go private

I pout and make strange faces but I have a neurological involuntary movement disorder that causes me to do this (obviously nothing like the OP).

If i saw someone doing odd faces who didn't have a condition like mine, I'd assume that they liked to pout a lot and look in the mirror in a vain way, or that they were slightly odd.

OTOH, I think perhaps I might not be so judgemental as they could have a disorder like me, so they might not be able to help the odd faces that they were making.

In all seriousness, if these are Katy's only pair of glasses she's going struggle without them so she might end up calling round rather then buying a new pair I would have thought. Unless Katy is the friend's daughter? In which case the ex-friend will be calling round but I think if that was the case she might just buy a new pair.

I really think your thinking way too deep about this (like beyond paranoid kinda deep!).

If someone was touching their glasses or mentioned having new glasses, it would be perfectly normal for me to say ‘ooh you’ve reminded me to book the opticians’. You pulled a face, it reminded her of something and she said it without a second thought.

If you are worried, dont pull any faces at her and see what happens???
