How hideous are these trainers really, in your opinion?

My partner isn't normally the least bit concerned about what I wear but really truly despises these trainers, will ask me not to wear them, says they're hideous!🤣
I don't think they're so bad? I'm not really someone who wears trainers unless I'm at the gym but I do occasionally put these on to just nip to the shop or such. DP is seriously offended by them!

I don't mind the trainers but then again I'm also a massive fan of something like these which DP absolutely loathes so take my shoe-related opinions with a pinch of salt. 😂

I honestly thought this thread was going to be about the Donald’s golden high tops! Tacky, cheap-looking and coated with some kind of laminate - much like him.

Why doesn't he like them?

The peachy pink is a gross colour combined with the red inserts, they don't even have a trendy branding logo like Nike or Adidas to redeem them, but for walking the dog I couldn't give a monkey what my other half would think.

If you wear trousers like that and with heels though, then I doubt they are your worst fashion disaster anyway...

Unless you're a teenager or a trainer enthusiast, isn't a trainer a trainer 🤷‍♀️

I would wear them doing muddy garden work, or for a run/hike only. Not for popping to shops or out with partner for a walk. I wouldn’t wear that type of trainer with those trousers either. Well I wouldn’t wear the trousers anymore either but that’s a different answer :)

What's with the comments about the trousers? Leather leggings have been everywhere for months - even M&S sell them 😂

Personally don’t like them at all and honestly, my OH largely could not care less what I wear but I think he’d be raising eyebrows if I came out in these.

BUT if you like them, who cares. My opinion means naff all!

Years. They look awful with the trainers.

I changed my vote after seeing the side view. Those trainers are trashed and dirty. Suitable for yard work only.
