How hideous are these trainers really, in your opinion?

My partner isn't normally the least bit concerned about what I wear but really truly despises these trainers, will ask me not to wear them, says they're hideous!🤣
I don't think they're so bad? I'm not really someone who wears trainers unless I'm at the gym but I do occasionally put these on to just nip to the shop or such. DP is seriously offended by them!

They could be worse, a lot worse, apparently Trump has gone into trainer design. His are gold. So not only would you be wearing hideous trainers you would be adding to the wealth of a foul mouthed, sexist, racist oaf. Taking that into consideration I think your trainers are the epitome of subtle good taste.

Ugly trainers are in. Plastic leggings aren't my thing. If you like them wear them.

My personal opinion is that they are quite an ugly color and even worse with the trousers. However, I don't care what people wear (and think everyone should wear whatever they want) so if I saw you walking down the street I wouldn't give your attire a second glance.

They are classier than these, which I saw a guy wearing recently! 😃

Well I'm home now, and yes I had walked the dog and in all honesty didn't see the point in cleaning them before sorting out a hideously grotty house.
Point taken on the trousers. I'd not normally combine the two. They're just comfortable, warm and wipe clean!
I am a pretty 'out there' dresser at times but I don't really mind what people think generally
I'm used to commentary! DP however never usually minds. It is just these trainers.
I will clean them and post another photo-I do only ever wear them for a quick shop trip or the gym usually. DP Just cannot STAND them 😆

Sorry OP, I'm with your partner on this. They look like the footwear choice of one who has given up.
The dirt of them reenforces this impression.

This is what I was feeling. Those trousers look like they’d be fine on a night out but not with stripey socks and trainers.

I think they are fine - I wouldn't clock them one way or the other.

Sorry, they are awful and, asides from that, don't go with the trousers at all! They also look scruffy/trampy.

Yeah i was more offended by the trousers - shiny blue plether? But I see they're actually black so must just be the picture. The trainers aren't brilliant but they must have been on some sort of super sale or something for you to buy them in that colour surely? They'd probably have been fine if you bought them in black rather than bacon though.

I wouldn't bother with trying to clean them (trainers) OP. Do the humane thing by taking them out the back and shooting them.
