To think this is a vote winner (though not election clincher) from Sunak?

Thought this was an impressive and clear response to the question, from Rishi. I suppose Labour will likely win by a landslide, because many people don’t care enough about women’s rights. Because I do care very much about women’s rights, I may vote Conservative for the first time ever (cue outrage for Lion). Will I regret it? Possibly. But I’d regret voting for Labour (aka women’s rights removers), even more.

It's relevant to this point the PP made:
"People aren't saying trans people are the threat, they're saying males are."

I think its splitting hairs really. Its very clear to me "people" are saying TW are the threat. I just was clarifying if I'd understood properly.

you've not understood at all. Any male coming into a woman's space is the threat. However when that male does not have gender, people agree that's not OK. however, when this male has a gender and says it woman gender, suddenly were supposed to see them as not a threat. So the only reaso we are not talking about other males is that everyone knows they should not be in women's spaces. For some reason having what they call woman gender makes people lose all their common sense.and forget they're as dangerous as every other male.

Please stop personal attacking. I've reported your post. Calling me crazy is no less awful when you do it with gif. It's a very disablist insult.

Labour AND conservative couldn’t be more shit if they tried!

Totallymessed · 14/02/2024 22:41

AdamRyan · 14/02/2024 22:27

Not an insult. And not abhorrent. Most people don't care about sharing toilets with TW they know. Go Google the polls.

Someone disagreeing with you is not "abhorrent"

I strongly disagree with this. And am pretty sure that if there are any polls that have shown most women are happy to share intimate spaces with transwomen (men), they have either been deliberately worded in a way as to produce that result or have covered a section of people that are not representative of the general population. Most people do not want this. Outside of your little circle of activists, very few people want this. You've managed to force things a long way, but people are realising what the agenda of "be kind, don't be a bigot!" actually means.

Odds for Wellingborough:

Labour 1/12

Tories 10/1

Odds for Kingswood:

Labour 1/33

Tory 16/1

Nighty night!

Someone disagreeing with me ia not necessarily abhorrent. The views expressed here, however have been. trying to blackmail women to let males into their spaces because of their poor mental wellbeing is abhorrent because it shows a total disregard for the women. calling someone ridiculous is an insult Adam though as you like to argue that black is white I'm sure you have a special definition of insulting which only includes what other la say to you and allows you to fling whatever mud you fancy

We already established that wasn't blossom. Another poster also made that mistake.

Sorry I've got to come back to correct this complete nonsense from a person who doesn't understand how UK law works.

Haldane must be followed in the rest of the UK unless there is compelling reason not to.

Nothing has been debunked at all, contrary to what this poster believes.

Do you believe this random poster or EHRC who agree that laws should be changed to protect single sex spaces as reported by the BBC?

Haha. For the readers if it's deleted, GIF is a tinfoil hat, with Weird Al Yankovic saying "seems a little crazy". Representing the conspiracy theory that I'm pro labour and "hiding something".

Not even worth unpicking all the storytelling and 'what ifs' here.

And I very much doubt you were ever legal professional.

Exactly. The TRA handbook tries to undermine people saying this with random nonsense about why aren't you talking about other males.

Really, with your expert knowledge of law you must be able to tell of course : S

But don't worry keep the personal insults coming, you've thrown a lot my way.

When your argument is so weak I suppose it's all you have left!

I'm reporting this too. Have you no shame? you can't call people crazy. Mental health issues are real and impactful and not fodder for your desire to use playground insults. You really are coming across as seriously lacking in any compassion.

Everyone who argues that women should agree to their spaces welcoming TW is TRA, yes. That's not really a matter of identity, its a matter of fact. Something some of us still deal with.

Honestly, you're accusing people of posting ridiculous things, but try taking an honest look at your own posts. Do you really think a gif suggesting you think someone is "crazy" is an adult thing to post?

izimbra · 14/02/2024 22:55

Underthinker · 14/02/2024 17:53

@izimbra I don't remind my TW colleagues that they are male, but I also don't use female pronouns for them.
Similarly, I don't go around telling my Christian or Muslim colleagues that god doesn't exist. But if they wanted me to pray with them or talk about their god I'd refuse, and that wouldn't be hate speech either, no matter how depressed it might make them.

So you have a trans woman colleague that you refer to here with male pronouns.

Would you do this within earshot of your colleague?

Would you continue to do it if you thought it hurt and embarrassed her?
