Grandmother killed by 2 XL bullies whilst apparently separating fighting bully pups.

Longer jail sentences, minimum of 5 years for owners of dogs that kill people for not controlling them.

Aibu?

It looked like a hammer/mallet. Not sure what the thing before that was. Some sort of tool, tyre iron?

I wasn't sure if it was a hammer or a small hatchet.

That poor man just doing his job. Thank god he survived. Terrifying how much abuse the thing can take, bashed till it can't walk but just gathers itself and scopes around of the next victim. Honestly like a creature from a horror film.

They really are like something from a horrid movie.
There is a video of one on a Rabies hold ( 10 day hold) that some foolish kennel staff let out of it’s kennel.
He couldn’t get it to go back in to its kennel.

He went for help
The xl Pit launched itself at a woman-
It was shot in the head.

But came back to life, just stunned by the headshot.
Seeing the wretched thing get up to maul again was like Frankenstein’s monster- Freaky yet also a monster created by man - the breeders .
It had to be shot again.

police in USA aim for heart as the heads are almost bulletproof
Rounds have “ Mushroomed” and bounced off the thick cramiums

They are not like normal dogs .

This shows how these large pits ''Redirect'' and the amount of blows they can withstand...

It's a long video....but shows the reality.
{the man lives, thank merciful God}

That video also highlights how ridiculous the "but she was attacking the pups with a broom!" line is. Those dogs aren't remotely intimidated, let alone hurt, by brooms - and the pit bull in this video is a lot smaller than the XL bullies.

That dog should be PTS.

Of course he is moved to tears - he's going to have the book thrown at him (I hope) and the cowardly bar-steward doesn't want to go to jail.

If that dog-trainer can't see past the crocodile tears she must be an idiot.

It was the trainer saying she had wept herself watching the poor broken bully owners video.

Ginmonkeyagain · 08/02/2024 07:26

On Jaywick, the history is interesting. It was never meant for permanent habitation. It was developed in the late 1920s as an affordable holiday resort for working class Londoners.

After the war, housing shortages in London meant some people were moved there permanently and as people got settled it became difficult to change the situation.

So basically people are living what are at their core 90 year old holiday chalets on a marsh. No one would live there unless they had little other choice.

Sturnidae · 08/02/2024 08:43

MalcolmTuckersSwearBox · 07/02/2024 19:21

Those houses are not fit for habitation. It's horrendous that people are expected to live in them. Presumably they aren't mortgageable, so are bought by cash buying scum-lords and rented to low income people?

They were never intended to be houses, they were built as holiday chalets originally!

People visit Clacton and think that's run down and depressing, but Jaywick is another realm entirely. It's uninhabitable and left to fend for itself. It's disgusting how the local government gets away with leaving people leaving in the conditions that they do there, it's literally an entire neighbour of people living in chalets built over 100 years ago and they keep putting millions into new shopping and community spaces that end up destroyed within a year but ignoring the homes and the streets where the help is actually needed.

MalcolmTuckersSwearBox · 08/02/2024 09:16

Somebody on this, or maybe the other thread, mentioned that there maybe some odd planning rules prohibiting permanent structures or similar there that make improvements to the area difficult. Razing the place to the ground on grounds of environment health/public safety is nigh on impossible as you'd have to relocate a whole community of people in an existing housing crisis.

Ginmonkeyagain · 08/02/2024 09:23

It could be because it is built on a saltmarsh and is at a significant flood risk.

Yes, 35 people died there in the 1953 floods.

oakleaffy · 08/02/2024 14:46

1953 also a passenger ferry sank with the loss of all women and children and some men.
104 died
Set sail in teeth of that exact storm surge
Princess Victoria Disaster
It was devastating across Holland and U.K./Eire

When he got back into the car he should have run it over. Several times. They are an abomination.

Yes I don’t understand why he didn’t run it over.

I didn't understand either..But maybe in the scheme of things he was not thinking straight...He sounded very shocked, these mutant dogs are indeed abominations.

FancyJapflack · 09/02/2024 01:17

What I aways find most chilling is the relative lack of noise from these dogs when they’re attacking. No energy is wasted on barking or even much growling. They calmly - almost dispassionately - just hang in there until they judge the job done.

Dontkillspiders · 09/02/2024 02:41

Those tears are fake. He's embarrassed and as well as the public he is getting it from the ladies family. Calling for the breed to be removed is just his way of trying to get out of it.
He was a shit dog owner and a stereotype.

Im not for the ban either but people like him annoy me. Typical backyard breeder bum

Dontkillspiders · 09/02/2024 02:44

There is literally no evidence this happened. No police report as this has been debunked on ttok and the woman doesn't want to be named? Wounds treated at home from this "killer breed", neighbour who lives in a park saw? Who has a house in a park?

People believe anything to news says its so sad no wonder gen dumb z exist.

Yes, the silence is what others have said is eerie too.
They relish a good mauling- The only sound is the victim.

They are a hideous type of dog.

Wish we could protect ourselves in this country against these violent dogs -

But even police standards of ammo need several rounds to stop these brutes when they are in full maul mode.

Mia Derouen was mauled to death by her stepdad’s XL pit - Eleven rounds to kill it

Police marksmen.
It’s sick that this type of dog can affect others lives so adversely.

At the end of the video, it breaks off from the first man's leg, and is in front of the vehicle unattached to anyone... Before the brute charges at the old lady with the broom.

That is when it could have been run over.

Edit...Would have been hard to have run it over while it was actually mauling the Postal worker.

The Pit escaped from its house when someone opened the door. It was called ''Boss Hog'' from USA news channel.

It was collected by Animal Control after the attacks.

No news as to wether it was euthanised or not.. it should have been.

The owner said ''It has never done anything like this before..''

Of ''Fatally attacking'' {humans} a high percentage are of Pit/Bully type. {from 2023}

Oh phew one of them wasn’t real! That’s brilliant news especially when you remember what happened to the poor little baby that was attacked by an XL bully.

Oh phew one of them wasn’t real! That’s brilliant news especially when you remember what happened to the poor little baby that was attacked by an XL bully.

These Pit apologists trying to say it ''wasn't real''..

It sounded very like what happened to my friend coming out of an urban park years ago

She had her then baby in a buggy , and her toddler walking alongside.

An English Bull Terrier barrelled out of the park and overturned the buggy with force.

Both children were bitten.
She described it as ''Wrestling with a pig'', trying to get it off her distraught children.

The dog had no collar on, or anything to grab.

It's teenaged owner came up, with a heavy chain, and was beating the dog to get it to release.

Both children have scars to this day. Even though the children are much older, the older child has a memory of the attack, and the mother and I keep a weather eye out for fighting type dogs when we are on dog walks.

The attacking dog owner was ''Banned'' from owning dogs at the time, {reason was given}

Pit /XL apologists will try to say anything to try to discredit a victim of the Pit type dog.

'Victim blaming' is strong with them.

brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr · 09/02/2024 10:41

All dogs a toddler cannot beat in a fight -> the sea.

Dogs are neither essential nor endangered.
