Partner wanted to do a charity skydive with some of his friends/colleagues. I refused as it isn't something I'm interested in.

He said fine. And now is doing the tandem skydive with one of his female friends?

1. your partner and her will not be jumping together unless one of them is qualified / experienced sky diver. They will be partnered with experience skydivers not each other.
2. even if they were partnered together, he asked you and you said no. as others have said it’s a several minute plummet to earth strapped to someone else with harnesses and loads of outer clothing on. What do you actually think is going to happen?

I suspect most charity skydivers are like me. I’d always wanted to do it and thought I might as well raise some money at the same time. I paid my own costs and the £1k+ I raised all went to Dementia UK.

this is absolutely a massive concern! I was reading about this the other day! Except they also had a mid flight affair, fell in love and lived happily ever after (in mid air), I don't think they ever returned to earth... his poor wife was waiting left on the ground and he never came back

I used to do a sport that my wife had no interest in, I completed a couple of events with colleagues. most were women. She cared not.
My wife likes a type of entertainment that I could only tolerate while sleeping, she goes with friends or relatives instead. I care not.
As for bonding, well yes, doing the sport did create joint memories, but that's set against the whole entirety of our relationship, our children, our health struggles, our wonderful holidays, Christmases, birthdays, activities we do share, our home we've made and even all the boring time we've shared!
That and, as much as I like the friends I had, I love my wife.

I'd be worried. She might be totally in love with him and he's not interested so she sabotages his parachute. If she can't have him she'll make sure no-one can. While steepling her fingers and laughing manically.

Op this is a real stretch. Do you have other concerns about him? Do you typically worry about him leaving you?

I jumped out of an aeroplane with a few colleagues many years ago when DH and I were either newly married or engaged. I was strapped to a very attractive instructor, and obviously yes we were ALL strapped to instructors as none of us had ever done this before and they don’t just let you jump out together with no experience.

I did have a brief rush of feelings for the instructor as he kept me alive while we flew through the air but it only because he was my only chance of making it down in one piece. I didn’t have an affair with any of my male colleagues mid air or during the day, despite a couple of them also being reasonably handsome. I’m still married to DH a couple of decades later.

Why don’t you go and video them - have a drink ready! Be part of it, without actually having to throw yourself from a plane!
