I love reading/ hearing about what people have eaten for some reason!
I like telling people what I have eaten too but often they think I'm weird, haha.

So, would you share what you had today and if it was good or bad? (Taste wise, not judging the health benefits)

Mine so far was...
Half a pack of cadbury mini eggs (omg sooo good! will finish them after dinner!)
4 quorn mini eggs (there's a theme here for some reason!)
3 x tea with 2 sugars and milk (twining english breakfast)- my new fave. PG have changed the recipe the bastards!
2 glasses white wine (yummm)
2 satsumas, one with too many pips (why everything is round shaped today?)
& and going to have quiche lorraine with potatoes and salad...(not my fave but my my nice fish is in the freezer and the quiche will go off tomorrow).

Come and share your day's meals with me : )
Or, think I am a weirdo for asking such things? ; /

Porridge with skimmed milk and sultanas
2 small bread rolls with homemade coronation chicken and lettuce
I'm just about to eat lasagne with a tomato and garlic flat bread.
Tea,lemon and ginger tea and squash through the day.

IchGlaubMeinSchweinPfeift · 24/01/2024 20:11

B: porridge with almond milk with maple syrup, cottage cheese, hazelnuts, chia seeds, dark chocolate drops and cocoa powder

Lunch: a fresh made potato and veg soup with chopped up hot dogs with white roll and butter

Dinner: pork, veggies and potatoes

Snacks: caramel protein pudding, 3 chocolate digestives, 3 coffees.

Looking back on that, it was quite repetitive today 😂 but it's the end of the week for us and we were eating what was going out of date.

GinJeanie · 24/01/2024 20:12

Two soft-boiled eggs
Two slices wholemeal bread with butter
2x apples
Handful black grapes
Organic coleslaw
Beetroot Kimchi
Cold chicken
Huge plate of lentil shepherd's pie with kale
1/2 a bottle of kefir
4x cups of builder's tea
Some water

Still hungry and craving carbs!

tarheelbaby · 24/01/2024 20:12

The worst ever 'triangle' sandwich from WHSmith in a hospital. The lettuce was horribly bitter, the chicken salad had a strong lemon flavour. It gave me stomach cramps! Fortunately I found a loo in time. Apologies for TMI but it was a crime The M&S is closed for refurb and I didn't realise I should have made the effort at Subway for my own safety and enjoyment.

The other meals were better: an egg scrambled with spinach + 1 slice of toast and for dinner tomato & olive salad with left over pizza, reheated in the oven. That said, the mushroom and spinach pizza was not as good as I hoped so will not waste money on that brand again.

Scirocco · 24/01/2024 20:14

2 cups of coffee and half a Huel.

Tothemoonandbackx · 24/01/2024 20:14

Grilled cheese (in the frying pan, my new favourite way to make it seeing as my oven grill broke) with jalapeños, cooked in butter and garlic olive olive oil with a massive crack of Himilayan salt to go on top!!!!
3 Aldi Cheese and Onions rolls
Some Henry Hippos, (can't remember if it's Aldis or Lidles knock off of Percy Pigs) but I'm Diabetic and was having a hypo
And I made Potato Dauphinoise (topped with cheese) before work so as soon as DD is in bed, I'm going to cook some healthy greens to go with it 😂😂😂 I know they say there can never be such a thing as too much cheese, but, I think I may have gone a teeny bit overboard today 😂😂😂 x

Tothemoonandbackx · 24/01/2024 20:18

@BadTitan You can still eat choccie, just in moderation, carbs are the enemy. Mash potato can be just as bad as sweets as they're carb heavy, but you just have to make sure you don't go overboard. Been Type 1 for 33 years now, and I still eat the occasional choc and it's never done me harm X

eandz13 · 24/01/2024 20:20
