I love reading/ hearing about what people have eaten for some reason!
I like telling people what I have eaten too but often they think I'm weird, haha.

So, would you share what you had today and if it was good or bad? (Taste wise, not judging the health benefits)

Mine so far was...
Half a pack of cadbury mini eggs (omg sooo good! will finish them after dinner!)
4 quorn mini eggs (there's a theme here for some reason!)
3 x tea with 2 sugars and milk (twining english breakfast)- my new fave. PG have changed the recipe the bastards!
2 glasses white wine (yummm)
2 satsumas, one with too many pips (why everything is round shaped today?)
& and going to have quiche lorraine with potatoes and salad...(not my fave but my my nice fish is in the freezer and the quiche will go off tomorrow).

Today?

A jacket potato with cheese and tuna and some peanuts but I can't wait for DD to go to bed so I can make some pasta or chicken tenders in the air fryer. Please go to bed....!

Thanks, that's really helpful - because it's so new I haven't seen a dietician or anyone yet. I've been going low-ish carb so no pasta, rice, bread or potatoes, or least only a little bit at weekends as a treat. Porridge for breakfast and rice cakes with hummus or cream cheese when everyone else is having biscuits. I also need to lose a good bit of weight, but this is a very good motivator!

A piece of thick white toast and butter
3 x coffees throughout day
a mini wrap filled with leftover fajita chicken, peppers/mushrooms/onion and sour cream
half a normal wrap with sweet chilli, mayo and lettuce
2 x bags of lidl frazzles equivalent
a banana
handful of raspberries and blueberries
half a large bbq chicken pizza, chicken pops and garlic and herb drip
a galaxy hot chocolate

I eat a lot! But I’m still breastfeeding which seems to keep the weight off thank god!

Breakfast: avocado, cherry tomatoes, fresh coriander, seasoning and a dash of lime on a slice of toasted sourdough plus a banana & coffee.

Lunch: homemade broccoli soup, with poached egg and lots of seasoning plus drizzle of virgin olive oil and sourdough toast with homemade pesto and a couple of wafer ham slices. Coke Zero.

Dinner: Harissa lamb meatballs, couscous, harissa yoghurt, flatbreads & baked aubergine with a little feta and fresh parsley sprinkled on top (was so bloomin' good 🤤). This meal goes best with a lovely glass of red wine but I'm still doing wretched Dry January 🙄 so just had a Coke Zero instead.

After A 42 hour fast I’ve had a lot to eat today. Broke my fast with cut up carrots, peppers, cucumber and radishes and had that with some hummus. I then had two slices of toasted sourdough, one topped with some sliced egg and the other with some cheese. I then had a protein smoothie. This was just my lunch but I did a 2km swim just before so needed to eat some protein. I then had a packet of Belvita 4 pack oat and honey biscuits and a mug of coffee. For tea I made spiced turkey kebabs and had one in a flat bread and the other with some couscous. Finished my evening with a Greek yoghurt with some granola and mixed nuts and a piece of dark chocolate. I don’t usually eat this much in a day but after a longer fast I need to and I don’t complain 😁 I love food!!

No breakfast
beef lasagne at a pub - absolutely horrible, so only had 2 mouthfuls.

Side salad
chocolate fudge cake
3 chocolate cookies
small jacket potato with chilli (made at home)
fresh pineapple slices with squirty cream

5 cups of tea
2 pints of blackcurrant and soda

I’m on a diet, 6.4lbs down since 1st Jan, chasing that half a stone! 1200 cals roughly per day:

breakfast: oats so simple golden syrup
snack: Whitworth shots
Lunch: Bagel thins with soft cheese, honey roast ham and salad, pack of Pom bears (cheese and onion) and a mini milkybar
dinner: small portion of lasagne, 100g French fries, carrots and peas. Followed by Oppo ice cream and more Whitworths. I think I’ve gone slight over today and around 1250 but have walked 20k steps so got a bit of flex

A bowl of porridge with a handful of grapes. A piece of fish and a boiled egg. Tea and a slice of dhs birthday cake. Beef stew with a slice of homemade bread.

Tea as soon as I wake up! (Always birchalls tea)

Two eggs on toast with Franks hot sauce as a late breakfast at 11am, was too busy to eat first thing

Made a very decadent hot chocolate which involved me hand whisking whipping cream 😂

A babybel, some shredded chicken from yesterdays roast and more tea.

My daughter is home poorly today and couldn’t eat the food I gave her, so I picked at her leftover strawberries.

Shared a Charlie Bighams chicken madras with the hubby which was delish.

A very weird eating day for me, but as DD is poorly it’s been a weird day in general!

Instant coffee early doors before my run
Proper ground coffee late morning
Toasted bagel with ham and cheese, bowl of sour cream pretzels and an apple
Homemade protein smoothie (peanut butter, protein powder, banana) and a protein yoghurt
Veggie rice dish for dinner, followed by a soya chocolate yoghurt
Options hot chocolate with 2 small Nice biscuits, few squares of white chocolate

That’s a “good” day for me too, I have a terrible snack habit and sweet tooth. I just always seem hungry! Drink gallons of water too.

I also noticed PG Tips are not as nice, so changed to their gold tea bags and they're lovely !

I'm currently calorie counting. Stayed within target today but not a great day !

Breakfast
2x tea with 1 sugar each
Small bowl of porridge with milk

Lunch
I was out most of the day and didn't have time to stop. I grabbed a cup of tea and a crunchie. I know, shocking.

Dinner
Chilli con carne with rice

Snack
1x cup of tea + 2 rich tea biscuits.

2 wheatabix with whole milk and dried fruit

Cheese sandwich, 2 bags of ready salted crisps, a banana and an orange juice.

Homemade spaghetti bolognese and some peas.

Pain au chocolate.

Several glasses of water.

Pretty standard day for me...but usually just the one bag of crisps!

Breakfast - overnight oats with cup of tea
lunch - cup a soup, apple, satsuma (at work)
dinner- homemade lasagne with veggies

plus 2 more cups of tea and a couple of quality street I found in the tin at work . This probably isn’t enough - lunch was definitely rushed and light on the calories
