I love reading/ hearing about what people have eaten for some reason!
I like telling people what I have eaten too but often they think I'm weird, haha.

So, would you share what you had today and if it was good or bad? (Taste wise, not judging the health benefits)

Mine so far was...
Half a pack of cadbury mini eggs (omg sooo good! will finish them after dinner!)
4 quorn mini eggs (there's a theme here for some reason!)
3 x tea with 2 sugars and milk (twining english breakfast)- my new fave. PG have changed the recipe the bastards!
2 glasses white wine (yummm)
2 satsumas, one with too many pips (why everything is round shaped today?)
& and going to have quiche lorraine with potatoes and salad...(not my fave but my my nice fish is in the freezer and the quiche will go off tomorrow).

Come and share your day's meals with me : )
Or, think I am a weirdo for asking such things? ; /

@TempleOfBloom Your mushroom stew sounds devine, care to share the recipe?

A concoction of my own devising:
Red onion, fried and softened
Garlic
Sliced mushrooms
About half a pack of the chestnuts that come in a pouch
A tin of butterbeans
A couple of potatoes, diced
A handful or two of cherry tomatoes halved
Mushroom ketchup
Bit of stock
Parsley, pinch of thyme.

BobbyBiscuits · 25/02/2024 00:48

@TempleOfBloom That sounds devine. I have to try it. How long do you cook it for? I love mushrooms and butterbeans, this would be great for my vegan friends. (Basically 75% of them) and me of course : )

I'm going to have egg, beans and salad for breakfast.
Some people find it weird I eat salad in the morning (rocket and tomato) but when you go to hotels that's usually with the breakfast. With the beans and eggs it goes down a treat

LuluBlakey1 · 25/02/2024 07:41

@BobbyBiscuits Are we having another thread- I've been fascinated by this one?

Iamblossom · 25/02/2024 13:07

PawsisShady · 25/02/2024 13:30

@LuluBlakey1 Definitely...I wasn't sure how many pages you get before you need to make a new one? I've not been on MN for very long, so bit clueless!

@Treehuggingmutherfunkin Salad at breakfast is awesome. My Turkish mate always has tomatoes, olives, rocket etc with cheese and egg for breakfast. In Spain as well they love their tomatoes for breakfast!

@PawsisShady Muffins, the classic. I have a right soft spot for the McDonalds ones, but am too lazy to ever get up in time to get them. Yours look much better though : )

@BouleDeSuif Chickpea and potato stew, gorgeous. I love both of those. Might make something like that as have a tin of coconut milk knocking about!

This is your last page. If you make one, you can then post a link to it on here before this closes so we all know where you have gone. Thanks- I have been fascinated by it.

BobbyBiscuits · 25/02/2024 18:20

@FinallyFeb Ahhh...Chicken roast is my favourite. Loads of roasties, stuffing, crispy skin. Yorkshires! Plenty of gravy (not too thick...) I think I need to make this tomorrow! : )
