I'm just beyond disgusted and feel I need to vent. I've always liked snag tights. I bought vouchers to save them in Lockdown, have spent hundreds with them. Liked their products and ethos- inclusive and female led. Yesterday I went on their website, can definitely say it's my fault that I clicked on their NSFW collection, but I didn't expect what I found. Patches saying ' ch*ke me' and 'c*MSL*t'. Maybe I'm just a pearl clutching prude but I found these really offensive and not what I expect from a company with their ethos. I've put a pic below. I posted in their Facebook group which I'm on highlighting that I thought this was a misjudgement on their part, that these were very misogynistic, and fed into a culture of violence against women which claims the life of a woman or girl every 11 minutes. They declined my post and sent me a reply which I'll attach- I'm kink shaming apparently. I find this really reprehensible and never want to spend a penny with them again! I never thought I was prudish, whatever adults do between themselves is up to them, but I don't really want to buy from a clothing provider who is promoting this- aibu!?

You could apply this to any and all forms of sexual activity. This. Honestly it really suits some people to think we're all pearl clutchers. But so much of what is now run of the mill porn used to be the preserve of specific communities. They were problematic because so many people involved were profoundly traumatised BUT the better ones did attempt to set ground rules that kept people safe.

I've never boughtt from Snag but am often tempted to try to overcome my dislike of their anti-woman trans advertising policies because I liked the look of their stuff and I'm others ideal target market for them.

I'm absolutely revolted by those patches and feel cured of any remaining desire to give snag a go. Thanks to those who have posted alternatives.

The fact that I'm not exactly anti-kink yet think this is way too far is not lost on me.

Better tights are excellent. I've got two pairs of black opaques that i wash constantly and wear at least twice a week each, and I've had them for over a year. They fit brilliantly, sizing great, and they haven't laddered in that time. They've also got lots of fun styles like Snag.

So this thread led me to the Tattle thread which me to the Snag NSFW Facebook group. Now after reading this thread I still sort of thought meh I'll still get my tights from them because they do fit and last well but Jesus bloody Christ that groups made me see the company in a whole other light. It's basically women and AGPs posting pictures of themselves in fetish gear and tights, in all sorts of comprising positions and Snag (the official company page, also admin on this nsfw page) comments on loads of them encouraging it. The whole thing is really creepy and seedy (obviously I left the group as quickly as I joined it!)
