My ex step daughter had that wallpaper or very similar on the wall behind her bed when she was 15/16. She had large pictures of Marilyn Monroe and an Audrey Hepburn one on other walls.

There certainly wasn't anything seedy going on!

I am wondering if perhaps I might have a bit of residual repugnance over the mixture of a bathroom with sexualised images of women in it stemming from finding lads mags in the downstairs loos of so many families I babysat for as a teenager.

I reckon it's just someone who likes Marilyn Monroe. Hell, I like Marilyn Monroe and I'm female. I used to have a couple of posters and a beautiful calendar when I was younger.

In the late 70s friends of my parents had a spare room which was decoupaged with cut outs from Play Boy/ Naked women from mags ,we used to have sleep overs there regularly as they were good family friends -quite the eye opener for a 10 year old! The above is just a MM loo.
