Personally I think he's great and he's clearly living his best life but the demographic of the crowd. Middle aged white men and women. The lack of diversity is quite shocking.

My pre teens have stayed up purely to watch Rick Astley. I've enjoyed it, but I have pre teens so can't go out on NYE...

I thought Rylan sounded surprisingly good! He's definitely improved since the X factor days. I love Rick - he was my first major crush aged 13 ❤️. His voice sounds terrific, really smooth.

My 20 something kids are loving him, as am I!!!

He's really ageing well (and I'm not an original fan). Liked the duet with Rylan (loved Rylands outfit).

He's doing brilliantly, I enjoyed his Harry Styles cover & duet with Rylan. Why look for offence where there is none? Audiences for this stuff tend to be self-selecting and most young Londoners won't have a clue who he is.

I was a student in 1985 when he was a mild cliché. Britain was about 95% white then. If you weren't born then are you likely to want to see him?

I really like Rick and I'm happy to sit and watch him and listen to his lovely voice. Wishing all a great 2024.

Well I’m thoroughly enjoying Rick (local lad), liked Rylan as well. I’ve seen Rod a couple of times in concert and loved it, but not that enamoured with his older voice. Rick’s still doing well, am liking the old songs too. Happy New Year to you all.
