Tinsel.. does it go on the tree or not?

I say no. Absolutely not. He loves it, the more the merrier and the tackier..

If I don't put it on the tree he will wait till I'm in bed and put it on 🤣. So I'm embracing it this year but it really is so tacky!

The oldest piece of tinsel I have must be over 50 years old and is used to help tie the angel on to the top of the tree (a doll my mum had that must be 70 years at least! wearing clothes she sewed)

Ornaments including tinsel get used until they can't be and taking them out each year helps refresh lovely memories
