Was chatting with my friend and I mentioned how I sleep naked, she found this completely shocking which I found quite funny tbh 😂 so just wondered if I’m in the minority or not.

I did not know sleeping naked was as common as this thread suggests! I'm firmly a pyjama wearer as well as thick bedsocks and a hot water bottle for about 2/3 of the year as I'm always cold. But even when hot I'd never sleep naked, it just feels so... naked!

For those that sleep naked what do you do when on period or breastfeeding? Also if you sleep naked do you always shower in the evening? So many questions!

When at a stage of breastfeeding that led to leaks, I wore a bra, with pads. When on period I'd wear either a tampon (would change it when i woke in the night) or underwear with pad. Other than that I prefer to be nude as i get hot! No, I used to shower of an evening but now only mornings.

Give in to the 'wet suit' effect! You'll never look back! 😁

Eh? 😄

My DW posted this previously on the thread: But I’ve found sleeping nude has what I call the ‘wet suit’ effect. Your body temperature heats up the bedding rather than overheating in what you’re wearing leading to a nice even temperature. It’s cold for about 3 minutes, then you’re warm as toast. Its not scientifically proven, its just me ☺️

Oh, thank you, yes I do sleep nude 95% of the time, so I agree it works!

Mhm! The times I've worn PJs is because I've had to cosleep with my toddler.

Of course. Thats a whole different ball game for some people. I meant in general, alone or with DP. x

Nope. I wish I could but my chunky thighs stick together which I find uncomfortable. In the summer I often just wear trousers but no top.
