I think the time has come to get a bit of magic into our houses without people thinking you are crazy for putting the tree up this early. 🙂

Let's use this thread not to boast but perhaps to give each other some ideas or motivate each other to slowly get into a Christmas mood. It's been a tough year for many myself included and whilst I did take the box with the tree out I am still waiting for this final push to start setting it up/decorating. Would love to see all your beautiful Christmas trees.

Pre child one is beautiful, this years one is perfect. I love how it has the 'ring of 4 year old' you'll be able to see how much he's grown each year!!

Never been into Christmas and always avoided it, never wanted a tree... I got this years ago and it was up for the first year but in the box since. I finally got it out and I am loving it! I wish I had some more lights for it though.

The tree is not up yet, but does my gnome count?

So...back in September I joking said that as all the adult DC will be here for Christmas along their cats (5 in total, don't worry they all rub along together having lived here at various times when their people have travelled for work) I thought it would be funny to have a mouse themed tree.
It caught on and the kids are I and have bought Christmas tree mice from our travels from far away New York, less exotic South Yorkshire and London. Liberty mice will rub shoulders with B&M and the Range. I am unfeasibly excited and have even made decoupage baubles.
Our last Christmas was the first without my lovely mum so we really struggled this year I am excited for it and looking forward to us all being together. #Mouse tree

its pretty, but a few more lights would be lovely.

i like the traditional ones, but they're hard to get now.

if you're happy with LED there's so many & not all expensive.

I think I need a second tree next year so my existing tree can go up with existing decorations & I can have fun gathering & making something fun like a 'mice tree'

That's what I'm worried about! 😬 Tree and kitten are separated currently until I can figure something out.

Chair and desk are going to be moved - wondering if I can buy or borrow a play pen before Christmas!

Mine up since Fri. It's a tradition in ours to have it up for The Late Late Toy Show.

They are all lovely! Inspired me to drag mine out of the garage.

It's November fgs, of course the majority of trees are going to be faux at this point.

I usually do red, green, and white lights and this year I did a poinsetta theme and added some (fake) poinsettas in the tree. I like it; it's giving me 'old-timey' feels!

Decorating it ASAP.....

Not being a grinch I swear, are these all fake trees? We’re going to cut ours down next weekend and I’m already worried it’ll be pretty dry by Christmas!

Way too early for me but each to their own. I do like seeing them popping up around where I live but I won’t do mine for a couple of weeks.
