Either buy some coloured contacts or stop being a ninny and appreciate the fact that your eyes are a functional part of your body and be grateful that you are not blind.

I have blue green eyes and I always admired really blue eyes. I have lots of eye issues though so if your eyes are healthy you should be grateful. I'm fairly sure you wouldn't want to swap with me.

I have dark brown eyes, dark brown eyelashes and dark brown eyebrows. I don't need to wear eye make up for my eyes to stand out.

The number of threads I see on MN from women with fair eyelashes and eyebrows wanting advice on what make up to wear on holiday makes me thankful that I don't have to bother.

My half-sister's brown eyes are beautiful. Mine are dishwater blue and always look red and tired. She can wear smokey-eyed makeup, I look bruised.

I have very dark brown eyes, blonde hair and non-tanning freckly skin. Apparently this makes me a genetic mutant! But I like my brown eyes! Mind you, when I was a child, my sisters would always get complimented for their lovely blue eyes, followed by "and that one has brown eyes... How unusual". I was definitely jealous of their beautiful cornflower blue eyes then!

Big brown eyes with massive eyelashes are the most striking I have seen, particularly if contrasted with pale or olive skin.

I like all colour eyes, but on women especially, big eyes are a sign of beauty in all cultures.

My daughter has dark brown eyes and is beautiful! Plenty of beauties with dark eyes.

I'm not 100% sure I agree, as I have these with pale skin, and through most of winter I just look unwell 😉

I have wishy washy grey/blue eyes. I think dark eyes are much more striking.

I genuinely feel that the beauty of eyes comes from the expression in them, the way they crinkle when you smile, how they show your mood.
