What happened in Israel was horrific by Hamas. But why are Palestinians being restricted, bombed, dehydrated and deprived of basic needs because of terrorists? Why is the world supporting Israel commiting war crimes?

Hamas are sick fucks to kill innocents. But it's like history repeating again. 9/11 caused millions of Iraqis killed for what?

I stand 100% with Israel and have been absolutely horrified at the demonstrations seen in the UK in support of Hamas over the past few days, as well as the overtly racist responses on this site and many others. I knew antisemitism was supposedly growing but had no idea that it was this common, or that it was acceptable to the point people apparently feel neither shame nor fear of censure when admitting to it. I feel extremely unsettled knowing I reside among people who would defend babies being beheaded, old people being burnt alive, women being brutally gang-raped and beaten to death etc etc. I feel disgusted that more is not being done by our government - why no buildings lit up in blue and white, why no minute's silence? My MP's not even mentioned it. It is interesting how keen people are to try and disassociate Hamas and Palestine when all polls have shown strong and continued support; three months ago, 50% agreed that Hamas should continue demanding the destruction of Israel and 57% had "at least a somewhat positive opinion of Hamas". This is despite 65% believing there would be “a large military conflict between Israel and Hamas in Gaza” (Washington Institute). Can you imagine any of our parties polling these sort of figures?! Hamas are absolutely ruling with the will of the Palestinian people and their stated ambition is the destruction of all Jews. More should have been done a long time ago but wails from the west have meant Israel have been unable to do much other than build bigger and bigger defences - and then the west squeaks that they've imprisoned Palestine 'cos of all the big walls! Now we can see precisely what they have been trying to defend themselves against - but some people would still claim they're the baddies. Israel has offered attempts at resolution and peace many times, Palestine has refused them all and never once offered their own. I stand 100% with Israel.

Exactly Hamas are to blame if Israel bombs Gaza for hiding among civilians. They could come out and save the Palestinian civilians but they prefer using them as human shields.

I don’t think many ordinary people supported the bombing of Iraq. But it happened in the days before social media so a lot was swept under the carpet until too late. It was shameful, no doubt about it. No one wants a repeat of it now.

Let us never forget that ordinary Palestinian people voted Hamas into power in 2006.

Hamas have brought this on. They’ve murdered innocent people, murdered babies, murdered children, murdered teens, murdered the elderly, raped women and burned people alive.

Hamas have brought terror to Gaza. Isreal have retaliated as any country would if their civilians had been murdered in cold blood. would you want our government to stand back if this had happened on our land?

I don’t endorse it, but I do understand, Israel is in a bind, Hamas like to keep their operations in hospitals, schools (there have been reports of schools being used as weapons storage) etc. They literally use the Palestinian population as a human shield, they will use children as well, I wouldn’t be surprised to see some kids shoved out in front during a ground invasion. Every Palestinian death is a propaganda victory for these people.

There is literally no way to target Hamas without civilians getting in the way. It’s a heap of stinking shit and it’s awful for everyone but Hamas is a stain on humanity, the stuff they have done is so utterly abhorrent that they can’t be left unchecked. It is isis levels of brutality, would you leave that on your doorstep? The equivalent population would be 7500 british lives lost in 48 hours due to terror attacks.

My thoughts are with everyone who didn’t ask for any of this but will still suffer. Hamas are the bad guys here.

It’s a private Israeli Discord chat celebrating (check the reaction emojis) the death of Palestinian babies. Obviously someone in the chat was disgusted enough to share with the world.

Thankfully, an increasing number of young Jewish people are fighting back (and are being treated appallingly) against the dehumanisation and ill treatment of Palestinians and have access to these conversations.

Yes, I support Israel too. I detest anti semitism. No race should be scapegoats by the world as history has shown the Jews have been. Anyone in the UK pulling down Israeli flags showing support should be charged with hate crimes. People in London have been celebrating by setting fireworks and handing out sweets once the attacks on Israel were first announced. Anyone found celebrating such dreadful heinous acts of terror should be deported if they are not UK citizens and charged if they are.

If we had to pay the price for what our government has done, I guess every single woman and child in the UK should be starved, displaced and killed.
