To be against the attacks on Palestine

Threemangoes · 11/10/2023 13:42

What happened in Israel was horrific by Hamas. But why are Palestinians being restricted, bombed, dehydrated and deprived of basic needs because of terrorists? Why is the world supporting Israel commiting war crimes?

Hamas are sick fucks to kill innocents. But it's like history repeating again. 9/11 caused millions of Iraqis killed for what?

Have we learned nothing from the past???

"First you said no no Israel wouldn't do such a thing"

I didn't say that

Unless you have evidence of this being deliberate, please keep your half-baked inflammatory ideas to yourself.

The IDF isn't going to waste missiles bombing civilians, it gives no tactical advantage.

This is a religious war against all religions?

Well no he's not declaring war against Islam.

Well no he's not declaring war against Islam.

Hmmm, well it won't all be plain sailing.

Hamas is Sunni Moslem and Hezbolla is Shia Muslim.

A bitter split between the two goes back some 14 centuries. The divide originated with a dispute over who should succeed the Prophet Muhammad as leader of the Islamic faith he introduced.

So I can't see them 'getting into bed together'.....

I forgot about that split. Hopefully, they'll continue arguing amongst themselves and not try to take over the world.

Or Bhuddidm, Hinduism, Sikhs etc. I'm intrigued by the treacherous Christian bit though, as though that means some Christian sects are acceptable? Assuming that would be the Palestinian Christians.

So it's possible Hamas lashed out without considering the consequences, and Israel is now using this to obtain their own goals.

Those Hamas boys are just so naughty!

Lashing out like that. They really do need to spend some time on the naughty step and buck their ideas up. Continuing lashing out like that and someone is going to get hurt.

Shia only make up 10-15% of muslims worldwide. They're kind of irrelevant. The split never made a dent in the spread of the Islamic conquest.

It's not a deeply thought through statement! The others aren't specifically named because they're not relevant in the Middle East so not top of his mind.

Yasser Arafat has nothing to do with Hamas.

On the contrary his Fatah party was in direct opposition to Hamas.

Any money Arafat embezzled went to himself. And he's been dead for 20 years.

He was an example of aid money being stolen. I am well aware he was not part of Hamas.

Are you denying Hamas do the same? It is widely publicised. Photos of their luxury homes are easily viewed online

AhNowTed · 14/10/2023 19:09

@LemonyTicket

No I'm not denying that.

Simply pointing out that talking about Arafat and Hamas in the same breath is incorrect, and helps to depict any pro-Palestinian leader in the same light as Hamas.

Umm. Arafat was personally involved in planning and execution of multiple terror attacks - he outspokenly encouraged them ideologically, organised finance for them and was personally the head of the Al Aqsa Brigades organization. They were responsible for the Yeshivat Beit Yisrael massacre, the Tel Aviv bus station massacre, the Cafe Moment bombing, dozens of suicide bombings including using children.....

You know I initially thought that, but he refers to Jews and Christian traitors at one point, rather than just Jews and Christians. Reading some of the previous statements it looks like a reference to the US.

Cuckoo is definitely a polite way of describing him!

EVEN UN SHELTERS IN GAZA ARE NOT SAFE ANYMORE. How can anyone deny this is a genocide. The evil Netanyahu is saying this is just the beginning. What other horrors are they about to unleash whilst the international community quietly look on

UN shelters in northern Gaza 'not safe anymore'The UN relief agency operating in Gaza has said its shelters in the northern part of the territory "are not safe anymore" - calling it "unprecedented".
"This war should be no exception," UNRWA said in a statement. "Protection of civilians and civilian infrastructure including UN buildings applies to this conflict too."
It said that despite the order from Israeli authorities for Palestinians to leave for the south, many people including pregnant women, children, the elderly and those with disabilities will not be able to flee the area.
"Wars have rules," UNRWA said. "Civilians, hospitals, schools, clinics and UN premises cannot be a target."
