What happened in Israel was horrific by Hamas. But why are Palestinians being restricted, bombed, dehydrated and deprived of basic needs because of terrorists? Why is the world supporting Israel commiting war crimes?

Hamas are sick fucks to kill innocents. But it's like history repeating again. 9/11 caused millions of Iraqis killed for what?

Have we learned nothing from the past???

How many countries do you think would just sit back and do nothing after women and children have been raped, murdered, beheaded, paraded through the streets and spat on?

I’m a Jew with family in Israel. If I could click my fingers and have the Hamas perpetrators gathered up in jail awaiting trial would I do it? Certainly. They are using the Palestinian population as human shields and to provoke an emotional response from the rest of the world.

I don’t endorse the Netanyahu gov’t and I wish someone much less hawkish was in charge; I think the current rhetoric is damaging and unnecessary.

Yet I agree with Israel’s right to defend itself even if I really don’t agree with everything it is doing right now. Inevitably when something like this happens there’s a spike in anti-semitic incidents abroad (as there is now) and fairly moderate people like me end up pushed to the right politically, feeling like we are a sitting target a hair away from the next Kristalnacht.

I heard on the news today a British plastic surgeon working in Gaza; his caseload seemed to be mainly children with horrific facial injuries from glass, fallen masonry etc. Who in their right mind would say “Yes, absolutely, do that in my name”?

No.

Why would I want to give refuge to people who want to exterminate me and my family?

I feel like if terrorists had come into your town or village and gone into every house killing babies and children then uploading photos of themselves as they did it you might want revenge at all costs.
You would be wrong because it does no good but you would feel such rage you would probably not care too much.

Hamas are not an entity, they are young men. A whole generation of young men raised with such hatred that they would do this.

The ordinary Palestinians maybe (let's not forget over half of the Gazans are children), but Hamas - absolutely not!

There is no excuse to rape and murder innocent civilians. Have you not seen the footage of the woman's half naked body being paraded in the streets and spat on by the Hamas terrorists?
Or the woman with bloodied trousers who has clearly been brutally sodomised?

That goes way beyond 'all is fair in war' - that is taking a sadistic delight in terror and humiliation.

Frankly? there is no negotiating with Hamas. And there is no reason any nation should simply accept what happened on 7th October.

So - unfortunately the innocents will suffer, and the men will posture and pose and unleash their killing machines.

The only condemnation i will put at Israel's feet is if they do go with nuclear. And then only the method, not the fightback.

Unfortunately the blame for this current flare up lies with Hamas. Hamas supported by Iran and possibly Russia orchestrated this situation, not just in the last few days but the last few decades. They have Israel and Gaza exactly where they want, as does Iran. Remember Iran does not care about Sunni Muslims so for them the Gazans are collateral damage.

It is a shame that Israel has such a nationalist prime minister at the moment. There always are ways to influence and affect change trough other channels, including diplomacy, intelligence and psychology. But this is made much more difficult with Iran and Russia tinkering and Biden being a weak and hapless president.

As in any war or conflict through the world and through the ages, the most affected are innocent children caught up in the events.
Hamas’s attacks on Israel were barbaric and a war crime, The UN is also saying the Israel’s siege on Gaza is breaking international convention.
I hope we can all agree that any children caught up in this conflict be they Israeli or Palestinian are the biggest victims and my heart breaks for them all.

Good to see you are concerned for the innocents. Are you doing anything about it? Because right now your government officials are sat in Israel giving them full support to kill innocents in thousands daily.

Your style of argument is quite bizarre op.... anyone who disagrees or challenges you is met by claims that they must be happy to see innocent children being killed.

Perhaps other Muslim countries could take the Palestinians in if Israel could open the border long enough for them to leave. The Palestinians living in the West Bank have got miserable lives as well, perhaps they would want to leave too. Give Israel what it wants, it's going to get it by hook or by crook anyway. At least the bloodshed would be stopped. I think other Muslim countries should help, many of them are wealthy aren't they? Egypt doesn't have to take full responsibility for refugees just because it's their border. Gaza just isn't going to be livable in by the time the Israelies are finished.

I think you have confused the question there. It was in reference to Palestinian refugees, not Hamas. Very different groups.

Incidentally Hamas didn't just rape, murder, kidnap and torture innocent Israelis. They also did it to Spanish, people, French, German, Thai, Filipino, British and many more.

No one has challenged me because there is nothing to be challenged. There are war crimes being committed right this moment and some posters want to justify killing Palestinians in their 1000s daily because of actions of terrorist group.

Hamas are to blame for this and if they didn't hole up in schools, hospitals, and with civilians in homes to 'hide' there wouldn't be as many civilian casualties. They don't care about the people of Palestine at all.
