AIBU to be sickened by what Hamas terrorists have done to innocent Israeli citizens?

I am not totally familiar with the whole Israeli - Palestinian situation. I don’t think anything political can explain what has happened over the last few days.

It is utterly horrendous what Hamas has done. I also think that Hamas are no friend to the Palestinians. They are bringing wrath on them.

I have read that this is the worst attack on innocent Jewish people since the holocaust, which is horrifying.

I am struggling to process these recent events.

Horrified. There are no buts or ifs when innocent civilians are slaughtered and children and babies are ripped from their mothers arms.

Israel have always targeted Palestinian schools. They are understandably sick of it.

I've had to stop reading and watching news reports, I find it too upsetting (and I'm hard to upset). I couldn't read the article about the babies (I'm not going to say what the headline is as it's traumatic) and it makes me despair for humanity.

@MindfullyAmazedHorse there are sadly, an awful lot of of innocent babies and children who will die horrific deaths in Gaza over the next few days. Some of them through starving to death due to Israel’s actions. It’s not as straightforward as ‘one side good, one side evil’.

That’s not accurate though is it? Sometimes Palestinians attack Israelis. This attack j by Hamas is pure evil.

Also although they are full of hate for the Jewish people they also hate people from Western / Christian / Atheist countries too - don’t think they’ll stop at the Israelis.

I've been told that the British offered the locals each a state before they left, more than once. The Jews said yes please, the Arabs said no the Jews can't have one. I've been asking pro-Palestinian people all day why they said no to that but getting no good answers yet. I think the solution the British offered was fine. Two states, each do their own thing.

No, I still blame Hamas. If they hadn't attacked Israel and then hidden themselves in schools containing innocent palestinian children then Israel wouldn't have targeted them. So yeah, I still blame Hamas.

Hamas are evil. They beheaded babies and raped young girls also took elderly women as hostages and some of these elderly women were raped too in front of others who were held at gun point. They are trying to get some of their imprisoned terrorists released. I hope it doesn't work. Now Hamas have said for every Palestinian house damaged they will kill a hostage. They have no intention of releasing those poor hostages. I bet some of them are dead already. Also evil Hamas hide among ordinary Palestinian civilians to use them as human shields.

The problem has always been terrorism in the Palestinian region... Hamas has control over Palestine since 2007. thats why israel created the blockade- unfortunately innocent Palestinians suffered because of this. Whilst it is still easy to just blame israel, it is important to recognise how challenging negotiations can be when you are dealing with terrorists

It's Israel who don't want a 2 state solution.
They want Gaza. They have occupied Gaza, against international law and imprisoned the Palestinians there. It's not theirs.
