To not care about the little things that most women (and my mum) obsess about?

So there's some things that there is always posts about. Not just here on MN but as comedy posts and memes on platforms like Facebook that APPARENTLY as a woman I'm supposed to be infuriated by, but I just don't care.

I.e.

I live in a house where the toilet roll hasn't been properly replaced in the last 9 months.
The new roll sits on top of the holder leaning at an angle against the wall with an old cardboard tube still attached under it (there was clearly one put on at one point). I don't care though. I know women who rage and fume at the thought.
And when the roll is done, the empty tube sits on the back of the toilet and every other Wednesday we collect them all (recycling gets collected every other thursday).

And if the bed isn't made.... so what? I don't spin like a dog in the bed leaving bedding scattered everywhere. When I get out the duvet is roughly square, maybe uneven and rumpled but thats it. And when you get back in at night, your bed is designed to fit you from the night before. No shaking or jimmying the duvet to get it pulled up high enough and your pillow is still perfectly shaped to fit your head.

There's a whole collection of things like this that according to social media (and my mum) that are unacceptable but I just don't care.

Anyone else on my side here?
Or have their own things they know others go mad over that they just don't care about?

I'm completely missing the point at the recycling getting collected every other Thursday -somewhat jealous of this as ours is every 4 weeks which is simply insufficient.

I'm a manager in a cafe inside a larger business. So we are our own mini company inside a bigger unrelated company to feed their staff and clients.
I answer to the managers at the bigger company and they do all our PAYE stuff and HR stuff but the rest of the day to day running falls to me.

If you have kids you might find they're too embarrassed to bring mates home. And don't particularly want to be home.

That's why two of DC's friends hang out here, because they hate how dirty/ messy their home is.

Just something to consider... but you sound like you may not care about that sort of petty concern .

Not that I want to be one of "those!" Women😏 they stand up fine !

i take the empty loo rolls out maybe once every 2 months. I have the plastic bag our pack of 16 loo rolls came in stashed under the sink, and they all go in there, and get emptied into the cardboard recycling bag when its full.

The downstairs loo guests use is pristine, the bathroom i share with the kids is a mess, and i really couldn't give a flying fuck tbh xD

As a kid I wouldn't take my friends home because of how overbearing and tidy my mum was.
No one felt comfortable enough to relax in her house.

Shoes off outside the house even in the rain so socks got wet,
You want a drink? OK but finish it quickly so mum can wash your glass or she stands next to you hovering waiting for the last drops to leave so she can take it.
Want to use the bathroom, absolutely fine but listen to this 10 mins barage 1st about what each of the million diferent towels is for.

My exMIL was extra level in these matters. Plastic covers on the sofa, cat had to live in the shed, and if you put a cup down and turned away it would gone for swabbing once you looked back.
