The video wasn't put up to try and take the piss out of you. You were saying that people haven't watched RB presentations. I have and I think he massively and probably deliberately misinterprets. That video explains. The fact you refuse to watch says it all.

‘U ok hun’ is not gaslighting in any way. It’s a pretty standard internet phrase used when someone seems to be having a bit of a tantrum, which you do seem to be having.

I don’t think anyone is bullying you, but my thoughts doesn’t really matter if that’s what you think - it can’t be very nice to have so many people disagreeing with you. I get that.

I really think we should leave them now - no one is being bullied but it’s obviously very upsetting for them and they aren’t taking any challenging well. The debate is long over.

Oh, I agree. I am rather disconcerted to find myself on their list of "bullies", though, and I object to it.

I haven't been keeping up but people can overinvest emotionally and psychologically in conspiracy and Brand has conned a lot of people. It may feel painful and very personal to have that disrupted.

Never give yourself up to a guy who claims to be the only one who knows the truth; it's a classic manipulation technique designed to isolate you while simultaneously giving you garbage that will cut you off from others. Brand ultimately has got money and is actually asking for money from his supporters; like any cause they will be invested.

This is of course what cults do.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around how this thread went from RB supporters claming he was being smeared, to posters asserting that smear tests were a conspiracy that "the masses" were not informed about any difficulties with...

RB is an entertainer and not some kind of social justice freedom fighter, that’s just his latest shtick, “stay free” just his catchphrase.

Elon Musk is vocally supporting RB. Elon Musk literally owns X (formally Twitter), which is a huge mouth piece.

RB is still a privileged white rich man with millions of followers and a heavy weight legal team.

We have legal system that couldn’t be more part of the establishment, patriarchal with a legacy of poor justice for victims or survivors of sexual crimes. 0.2% conviction rate when the perpetrator is known to the victim.

We are hearing some voices that we haven’t heard, mostly female, including female comics including about the vast inequality in the industry.

Let’s at least listen to them for a bit, if we can hear them over the top of RB shouting, as they’ve been living in silence a long time.

Also media, in particular TV should stop presenting 'both sides' when there isn't two sides, there is the consensus of scientists and then a few with little or no scientific education who have read something on the internet.

You get it a lot on threads about vaccinations where people think 3 or 4 or 7 in one vaccines have more 'stuff' in them than single vaccines did.
