For context I have been messaging this person and sometimes I don’t reply quickly due to working or other things and this is what he says. Top message supposed to say ‘at messaging’ I’m guessing..I’m mid twenties and he is mid thirties.

No, it's not outdated. Illiteracy either means dyslexia, which most people don't have, or it's a sign of someone poorly educated. I definitely judge people by their spelling. There are far too many posters who don't know the difference between 'there,' 'they're' and 'their,' amongst other common mistakes.
I don't immediately jump to dyslexia. In this case, wouldn't a dyslexic person write 'smakt' instead of 'smak.' He's as thick as the wall and needs binning.
