I'm REALLY struggling in this heat. West Midlands.

I know we've barely had a summer and I know I should be enjoying this week but the amount I sweat is making me completely depressed. My hair is constantly wet, I have sweat running down my face as if it's raining, and I promise that is no exaggeration.

School run I could cry. It's so embarrassing being pouring of sweat, which then makes me sweat more I'm sure. It's nearly 1pm and the thought of the school run and being seen like this again is making tears come into my eyes.

Anyone who suffers from hair/face sweat, is there anything I can do?

It's been absolutely perfect in my part of the SE today well, as far as I'm concerned.

Air fresh, lovely cool breeze and 23.5 degrees in my living room.

People walking around in cardigans and hoodies it's so cool. No cardigan for me however, I'm just revelling in being slightly cold.

I took my dog to our lovely country park this afternoon for the first time, in what feels like forever; it was lovely.

God, I hope it stays like this. Although, tbh I'd still be happy if it rains. Just no more heat, please.

Being told to 'Cheer up' or insinuating I must be miserable because I prefer winter, is one of my pet peeves.

Why do people that don't enjoy being hot and sweaty automatically get labeled as miserable?
Should I go around calling people grumpy in the winter for not enjoying it?
No. I shouldn't, because we are all different and some people prefer heat whilst some people prefer feeling cooler.

You can keep your crappy, stuffy weather.
I'll carry on hating it.
And no I won't "Cheer up" 👍

I took my dog to our lovely country park this afternoon for the first time, in what feels like forever; it was lovely.

Yes, our dogs are loving this cooler weather too. Long walks whenever we feel like it rather than only early morning and late evening. They’re so much happier, as am I.

We have fewer flies strangely! But yes, they are v annoying.

It is cooler than it was but still a little too warm for my liking. I still can't get into the covers at night even with the windows open so just sleeping with a light blanket over me.
The media keeps saying we have more to come and that honestly makes me want to cry. They are normally wrong so fingers crossed they are this time. Autumn will fly by at this rate.

My car is boiling but the weather is good!
I'll really be able to enjoy autumn when it finally gets here.
Having proper seasons is wonderful. We need a cold snowy winter too.

This annoys me too.

I was told by someone the other day, after I was moaning about the heat, that I'll be grumbling about the cold soon. No I won't. I love autumn and winter. A beautiful crisp winter's day is just up my street. Don't even mind the rain.

This literally feels like such a safe space 😂 Nobody seems to feel the way I do about the heat! I’m in London and it was 25 degrees outside. It’s bloody autumn!!! I just wanted autumn weather dammit!

25ºC here on Saturday. I tried to get in touch with the garage who did the shit regas job on my now non-existent aircon but apparently the mechanic is on holiday and doesn't have any time to see me until 17th October. FFS.

Today was much cooler but my car was unbearable, and I don't currently have the ££ to get someone else to sort the aircon.

Where are the cold, crisp days of Autumns past? Sad

Windy, damp and a cold 18 degrees here in north London. Bloody hate this weather and the fact this is pretty much how it’s going to be for the next nine months. Roll on next summer! Hope it’s scorchio!
