To ask about hidden gratitude?

I've literally just had a pop up box about something to do with hidden gratitudes but it vanished before I'd had chance to read it in its entirety or take in what it was for. I can't see any threads about it but it looked like a new feature, has anyone else had this pop up?

Love how this thread took a turn. 😂 It's been quite fun to read but I suspect the novelty of the feature will wear off quickly and it won't be used much by most posters.

I am first in the queue to not play with the little hands icon. I want a simple life. And the quote button back where it belongs.

@Twiglets1 I am so sorry I missed your reply, I thought you had gone somewhere to get away from all the clapping hands.
I don't think I would even know if I had been given the clap, so to speak, I have everything turned off that I can find to turn off in settings.
I do hope you enjoy the clap.

I'm not happy with this gizmo. I went on the mobile site and could then see I had got some thanks whereas before the poster would have replied on the thread and I would have seen it on the app. It feels very impersonal IMO.

The icon looks like a high five. Not sure why it needs to be hidden. Public likes would spare us all the posts saying “this” or “I agree” or worse, big long quotes and a post saying “what she said”
