DH 38 was sent a holiday picture of very posed "sausage leg" type picture from female work colleague (late 50s). Right up to the bikini line. His response was "A bit jealous, but wait til I get to my room". I think this reads a certain way. What do you think? For context, we were on holiday too in a very nice hotel that he had been bragging about to her in previous messages. He says he was just going to show her pics of our room. He never did. Messages stop there. My mum says it isn't suspicious and believes him as apparently pictures like this are common amongst her 50 year old friends. My friend says it is suspicious as feck. Aibu: Yes- innocent messages. No--suspicious messages.

If said colleague wanted to showcase where she was staying - just take a photo of the pool/beach.
Or even just a smiley selfie. Totally normal.

This smacks of attention seeking bollocks which is embarrassing for anyone over the age of 30, especially sending to a non partner or not a close friend.

Let's just go back 20 years... Would it be appropriate for her to go out of her way to share this photo with someone else's husband once snappy snaps had sent it back?

It sounds like the only ‘scenery’ pictured in the photo was of her legs and bikini crotch. Likewise, his remark was full of innuendo. He’s had mentionitis about her, and their messaging appears to have deletions. His immediate reaction to your concern was to be defensive and to sick OW on you. Now he’s crying and threatening to jump if you don’t back down and get back in your lane.

He’s attempting to manipulate you, just as he did when he previously betrayed you. Kudos for refusing to take his guff.

It would be different if she sent a pic of the scenery then he could say he was jealous. I wonder what he was jealous about if he could only see her legs was it that she was there with her hubby and not him? Would he be okay with you sending a pic like this to another man? I think he's sufficiently cocky to think that the sausage legs shot is fine and his comment can be explained, so only deleted the comments/images that were unquestionably not fine.

And, in isolation, the sausage legs shot is fine... its the extra detail (for example, she has NOT shared that image on social media... the lack of him sharing pics of the apartment/location...) that tips it over the edge, but blokes often miss such subtleties!
