I judge people who swear AT others, especially if they do so in order to intimidate. I don't judge them for swearing as such.

My very favourite story from my nannying days is of the toddler who was being potty trained. The first complete sentence she uttered was "Oh no, the little bugger's crapped on the living room carpet!"

Her mother and I stopped swearing in the kitchen after that 😂😍🤐

That's the trouble with swearing and/or showing anger. It tells other people that you are in "pain", that you are not in control of the situation, that you have lost the game.
It's definitely not a sign of intelligence, it's a sign of despair.
