Do you drink every day on holiday?

Wondering about this. Normally I stick to weekends for a few drinks, with the odd mid week couple of glasses of wine at an events or somesuch.

But on holiday we drank every day for a week. A beer or cocktail or two before dinner, and then sharing a bottle of wine for example. Had a weekend of no alcohol after coming home, just to get a break, but we're away this weekend again so will drink this weekend too.

If you drink, do you drink quite a bit more on holiday?

I do tend to drink most nights on holiday but less than my normal Saturday night, which is usually the only night I drink.

I usually don't know when to stop but somehow I am happy with just a couple on holiday.

I pretty much drink constantly on an AI holiday. I swear they water the cocktails down in the day though. Which is fair enough as why would they wanna deal with drunk people around the pool

Yep. I usually have one early blow out day, wake up feeling rough and tone it down for the rest of the time. But I still have two or three alcoholic drinks every day.

Yes because the wine was the same cost as a bottle of water 🤣

Yes. Not getting hammered 😂 but maybe a bottle of beer or a glass of wine or aperol

Yes but I don't day drink, feel too groggy. I'll maybe have a cocktail or glass of fizz while I'm getting showered and ready to go for dinner then wine with dinner and maybe a drink or two after

Not any more. I have to have a couple of days of not drinking if I'm on holiday for a week, otherwise I feel crappy!

Most days on holiday yes. Not a lot but a couple of drinks. Would probably be a bit more if I didn’t have children with me as I don’t like drinking at night but don’t drink much in the day around the kids

I tend to drink about the same on holiday - just back from an all inclusive and even then I had the same as I usually do, just more spread out. But I'm not a big drinker anyway. The difference was that some really nice things were included so I had nicer stuff.

When I drank alcohol, yes I drank every day on holiday - would be out and about during the day and as soon as we got back to accommodations we'd open the wine and relax into the evening.

We holiday in the UK though so don’t drink during the day. I have a mix of fizz, gin, and beer (not all at once!)

Rarely do I drink at home. I do drink more on holiday, probably 5 nights out of 7, but it’s only 1 week per year and 1 glass a night if any.

I don’t ever drink in the day though, even if I was AI. Knocks me out and I like to make the best of my days and be active. Swimming, walking, or concentrating on a book.

No, but I don't drink alcohol really. I prefer soft drinks.

I drink a lot less when on hol.
I also tend to lose weight. I'm told that's also unusual.

I didn’t drink alcohol for about 10 years because I couldn’t face dealing with kids and hangovers!
I do now drink wine regularly at home,about 3 bottles a week !
Am on holiday now and the wine is not as high in alcohol so probably drinking less !

I'm on holiday atm rationed for half a bottle each a day, halfway through and we have had a bottle of wine each most days and need to get more now!
