Do you drink every day on holiday?

Wondering about this. Normally I stick to weekends for a few drinks, with the odd mid week couple of glasses of wine at an events or somesuch.

But on holiday we drank every day for a week. A beer or cocktail or two before dinner, and then sharing a bottle of wine for example. Had a weekend of no alcohol after coming home, just to get a break, but we're away this weekend again so will drink this weekend too.

If you drink, do you drink quite a bit more on holiday?

I definitely drink every day on holiday.

I find it hard to get out of the habit when I come home, especially if I don’t go straight back to work

The only time I drink is on holiday. Wine with evening meal then a couple of cocktails. On holiday now, soaking up the much missed and needed sun.

No. I drink very little anyway and booze makes me tired the next day.

I used to but gave up drinking last Christmas, as I was concerned I was drinking too much. Loving my new AF holidays this year!

Yes but I tend to drink a lot more water as well ( all inclusive beach holidays) so I like to think it’s not so bad for me…..

Yes I do but it’s becoming more difficult- cumulative tiredness and booze affecting my sleep. Lost the ability to lie in and sleep it off.

So at some point will probably need to start having a day or two
off in the middle of holidays. Definitely couldn’t drink every day for 2 weeks now.

I don’t drink at all now but yes I did when I drank. My husband does too, not much usually but a couple of drinks a day at least

Yes definitely. At home I’ll only have a few drinks at the weekend.

a three days adventure to Norway with my 11 year old child, no.

a fortnights beach holiday, I probably drink most days but not every day.

Oh and don’t do two week hols. Never more than 7 but more often a short break. Could t drink every day for more than a week

More or less. Not deliberately but I take a lot of my holidays in France and Italy and have wine with meals.

Yes. Except on the one day my hangover was too bad to face it 🤣

I'm not a big drinker but on holiday. Absolutely yes.

And shhh don't tell anyone but I eat unhealthy food as well 🙃

yep most days on hols. specially if its a relaxing one..just back from Italy jug of local wine (enough for 2 glasses) 5e. couldn't pass it up was fab too. aperols were 5e too ( they charge 15e here for them ) only drink at weekends normally one glass of wine roughly Saturday and Sunday night

In general if I fancy an alcoholic drink, I have one. Most of the time I don't drink because I'm not bothered about it but often on holiday I'll have several if I haven't got to drive or do anything the next day.

Yep, every day.

Yep. Currently on Day 13 of a fortnight’s holiday and think I am pretty pickled by this point, the detox awaits!

If it's for a couple of days then maybe. Otherwise no, I like having a clear head more than I like drinking.

A couple of wines at lunchtime, a couple of cocktails before dinner, share a bottle of wine as we eat then a couple of wines on the balcony when we get in.

Yep. Finish breakfast, get settled by the pool then get a beer or a cocktail and carry on steadily throughout the day. We don't tend to have late nights though.
