Kids just ate raw fucking chicken pops feel so guilty

I'm a terrible mum. I just picked them up 🤷 as I thought they were the cooked version 🤢. They ate the whole pack before the guy told me. It's going to be a long messy weekend. 😭 They are going to be unwell and it's all my fault

It depends it has to be infected if it's campylobacter will show 2/5days after . salmonella as little as 6 hrs food poisoning will start as soon as 30mins upto 8hrs chances are its gonna be fine

If they have sensory issues I’m surprised that raw chicken got through without noticing! That would have been yukky. Am sure they weren’t raw.

Waitrose has a good reputation for excellent sourcing . Better that than another brand where the chicken might be less safe. Just watch the kids for any reaction and put it down to being human.

Just an update as all the incubation periods have passed. We got away with thank heavens! No illness!! but they are fighting so much but school starts soon hurrah 😁
