To be furious that no-one from our Royal Family will be in person at Sunday's WWC Final

I really feel that if this was the National Men's Team, the RF would be out in force. The Lionesses have really championed women's football and I am astonished that The Princess of Wales and Princess Charlotte won't be at Sunday's final, to support them. It is an amazing achievement to get to the final. The Queen of Spain and her daughter will be there !!! AIBU to think our RF should be heading straight to Australia?

Maybe they couldn’t get enough secure seats to fly out?

I think environmentally it’s a long way to go for a match but I would be disappointed if there wasn’t some sort of reception for the team back at the Palace when they return.

Not sure if we've got any available hotel rooms to accommodate them tbh.

Australian's don't care who Prince William supports. Most wouldn't have even wasted time considering it, and if they had they'd likely just assume he would support England.

I'm not trivialising how amazing they have done, It is an amazing achievement and we are having a party :) But, I have no idea (or care) about the wherabouts of the working Royals as i assume that their diaries are organised a long time in advance.

They probably have their diary booked years in advance and are already somewhere that day. It really doesn't matter, it's just a game of football.

While everything RF does is PR. Will has really been a great champion for the lionesses and it seems genuine (as genuine as rf can be). So I doubt this is any type of men vs. Women. More like distance thing.

But I wonder why he isn't scheduled to be in the final like since aus/nz was elected as host. You know, some commonwealth support crap. Even if England wasn't in the final.

Yes I agree, I mentioned this in a post this morning. I am sure if it’s was the men’s final he would be there! But I agree, not seen William or Kate in the paper for a while, so perhaps they are having a family holiday or at Balmoral perhaps, who knows.

Looks like a chance to have a pop at Prince William/RF, imagine the uproar if he "jetted off" with the huge entourage required for one game.

They'll be on holiday in Mustique, or somewhere equally as luxurious, no doubt. Willy isn't know as work shy for nothing. The final should have been pencilled in his diary months ago and loose plans in place if England made it through. Like others have said, it wouldn't have been in any doubt with the men's game.
