Page 13 | To not shower in the morning?

If I could, I would have two showers, AM & PM, but tbh I actually can't afford to do this due to water bill. I simply couldn't get into clean bed sheets of an evening not showered. (Only exception if sheets are due a wash) But I feel horrible when I haven't showered in the morning. Do you always shower in the morning?

I bet you are all filthy slovenly lazy mares who only wash when you feel like it. I am amazed that a thread could be 6 pages long on this subject, and each poster is trying to be "cleaner" than the previous one. Mad competitiveness in action!

What I do in my own bathroom is my business.

All of our day to day decisions impact on the climate, it is disingenuous to suggest otherwise. Stating fact isn't hectoring. I am full of gratitude whenever anyone says "And what about the climate?" in any context ‐it is a gift, a nudge to awareness.

There's this odd thing that happens on threads like these -but no point in pointing it out as it is always denied‐ a kind of competitive reflex; be it cleanliness, tidiness, ability to subside on very few calories, thriftiness, inclination to flex authoritarian muscle with one's offspring, it all arises in the MNsphere. A person who showers once a day is not unhygienic. Nor is a person who showers every other, third or fourth day. We're all fine.

It is a gift. A nudge to awareness.

Replying to the OP - honestly I don't shower every morning! I often don't shower in the evening either. Since lockdowns have to say I have taken a very relaxed approach and now I am pushing two to three showers a week, sometimes less. On the plus side I do feel this is good for the planet and also my hair seems to start cleaning itself after a while. You get used to your own smell after a while.

Every morning I wake up primed to go jump in the shower and power start my day. I then snooze for another hour before crawling out of bed and opening my laptop to work and refuse to turn my camera on.

In my dreams I take two showers a day though. And feel smug.

Anyone who is in a hosepipe ban area and has two showers a day needs to have a word with themselves. I shower every couple of days. I don’t go around smelling bad because of this. Showering twice a day is a tad over the top.

Germany is my favourite place to visit; never been anywhere there that I didn't like! Too many beautiful towns to mention.
Also the Netherlands. So much water and beautiful architecture everywhere!
Out of resort Mallorca is stunning. Love walking in the hills and visiting the old towns.
Poland is lively. Gdansk is a lovely place to visit, with Dutch inspired architecture.
